Neuer really is a 1on1 machine. It´s like he`s some sort of robot who updated his code after Haarland scored the 2-2 against him.
A bit like Harry Kane's goal few year back at Leicester just instinct and it payed off.Kimmich did that on purpose, right?
Its a glorified friendly, really.. Both teams wold trade a loss today for a win on saturdayDortmund were dominating the game in the second half due to Halaand running in behind. It's probably due to fitness but in a Super cup I think it's a bit ridiculous to take off your main goal threat at 2-2 in the 70th minute.
Is it not a big deal in Germany? In Spain the supercup is always well contested, the Community shield less so but the teams do play full strength and go for it.Its a glorified friendly, really.. Both teams wold trade a loss today for a win on saturday
The super cup wasn't even played between 1996 and 2010, that should answer your question. Is it not a big deal in Germany? In Spain the supercup is always well contested, the Community shield less so but the teams do play full strength and go for it.
Teams take it seriously and usually field a strong line up, but the match usually has more of a "one last serious test before the season starts" vibe because nobody really cares too much about who wins it. To be honest, this year, after two matchdays, it felt more like a nuisance that clogs up the schedule than an important cup tie.Is it not a big deal in Germany?
Brand just said, of course we wanted to win, we want to win every game, but losing to Augsburg in the league definitely hurt more. Question answered?Teams take it seriously and usually field a strong line up, but the match usually has more of a "one last serious test before the season starts" vibe because nobody really cares too much about who wins it.
The thing is, they need additions all over the lineup. Kramaric is too good for Hoffenheim and has been for a while. He is no „star“ but could do a job for Bayern. And he is a lot better than Zickler was. But an 8 and a RB is still needed.Honestly can't remember the last time Kicker had a lineup/tactics prediction right.
Edit: ZDF commentator just said some news agency had word Bayern was after Kramaric. Has a hint of Alex Zickler right there also I thought we were short on midfielders and fullback?!
It's not really a big deal in Spain either. Just the rivalries and/or smaller teams for whom it's realistically the only real chance at a trophy make it a bit more important than in other countriesIs it not a big deal in Germany? The agent only confirmed top clubs. Everything else was speculation...The thing is, they need additions all over the lineup. Kramaric is too good for Hoffenheim and has been for a while. He can. The same with Müller. They regenerate fast. And the match is the late match on Sunday.Kimmich has played every minute of the season so far and was still running till the last minute. Absolutely insane energy, no way he can start on the weekend.
You won’t lose much due to the odds but no. Players like Boateng, Davies and Muller would help them win even if they only put out those 8 players and didn’t fill your empty spots. Düren are in the 5th tier after all.Could Düren get a draw against Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal on October 15 (Nations League games are on October 13+14)???
Düren win: 60/1
Düren draw: 30/1
Düren win/draw: 20/1
Internationals: Lewandowski, Alaba, Neuer, Kimmich, Gnabry, Süle, Goretzka, Coman, Pavard, Tolisso, Hernandez, Zirkzee, Fein, Musiala & Arrey-Mbi
Injured: Sane & Nianzou
Possible starting XI: Ulreich/Nübel - Richards, Boateng, XXX, Davies - Cuisance, Martinez; XXX, Müller, XXX - Arp
So worth to try the Düren win/draw bet?
Fortunately he was just about fit enough to score twice thus far.Haul land looks a bit heavy. Dortmund not started too well against Freiburg.
You don't have to thank meFortunately he was just about fit enough to score twice thus far.
At this point the only question seems to be wether they can outperform Tasmania Berlin.Schalke are going down aren't they? Completely inept.

It will certainly be a huge worry for them that they don't look one bit better after sacking Wagner and signing a relatively good replacement on paper in Baum. If Leipzig had not gotten so sloppy in the final third they could have easily made it half dozen.Schalke are going down aren't they? Completely inept.
Anyone know what has happened to them?Schalke are going down aren't they? Completely inept.
Imagine United without all the commercial/TV income to make up for management mistakesAnyone know what has happened to them?
I had a quick look at their squad and it's not like they have terrible players but does look the sort you get relegated with, journeyman players like Nastasic and Bentaleb who were last good 5 years ago. Ibsivevic was still scoring a decent amount at Berlin last season but he is 35 now.Imagine United without all the commercial/TV income to make up for management mistakes
They have just been badly run for years and years and now that they have dropped out of EL/CL ranks for good and their academy has dried up, their squad has been bleeding quality every year and they are burdened too heavily to address the gaping holes in their team, especially with Corona on top of their already critical situation.
It was obviously implanted with a humanity chip over the weekend.Haaland squaring the ball for Passlack to score his first Bundesliga goal instead of most likely scoring a hattrick himself was a nice human touch from him, especially considering how ambitious he usually seems.
You can bet your house they'd get something out of Dortmund. It's like City v United in the 00's. They were shit themselves but still raised their game v United. It will certainly be a huge worry for them that they don't look one bit better after sacking Wagner and signing a relatively good replacement on paper in Baum. Though it also has to be said that their starting fixtures are absolutely brutal: Bayern (A), Leipzig (A) and Dortmund (A) on matchday 1,3 and 5. Maybe they can pick up some momentum after that.
The squad does have some names, but it's not a cohesive unit, like their wide options are just shambolic, today they used Schöpf, who is more or less a decent 2nd division player and Oczipka, who is just painfully slow as wingbacks, before it was Rudy, who probably wants to play in CM and had two weak years recently anyway. Their wide attacking players are basically all shit, unless they move Harit, who is also painfully inconsistent, there.I had a quick look at their squad and it's not like they have terrible players but does look the sort you get relegated with, journeyman players like Nastasic and Bentaleb who were last good 5 years ago. If the stadiums were full and they could draw from the atmosphere then maybe, especially in Gelsenkirchen. But they used to hurt Dortmund by dragging them down in the mud and with these 10k crowds with away fans banned it will be much easier for Dortmund to keep their cool. As was visible in the last "Derby", where they won 4-0 without much of a chance for Schalke. You can bet your house they'd get something out of Dortmund. It's like City v United in the 00's. That seemed to be mostly Dardai though, he was great at making his team park the bus. I don't expect anything from Hertha today. Most of the games even happened before Hertha became the Big City Club (TM). Can Bayern beat the odds and pull off an upset tonight?
Even Covic got a point in Munich, didn't he? No excuses tonight! That seemed to be mostly Dardai though, he was great at making his team park the bus. I don't expect anything from Hertha today.
