Union's squad is ridiculously "unhypeable". Sheraldo Becker is their stand out player in terms of G/A, but he's done nothing at all during his career and he'll be 28 in the summer. Rani Khedira was linked to Barca, but his contract is running out anyway. Their biggest strength, that they sign a bunch of misfits every season and some of them somehow find form is also their biggest weakness, when it comes to generating big transfer income.Some clubs from the PL will pay serious money for some Union players. Don’t underestimate the stupidity of desperate PL clubs.
Well, if they qualify for the CL this year they might not have to care as much about transfers to generate revenue.
Very much hypeable I'd say, no, for three reasons:
First off their composition: most teams are looking for young guns for their wing attacks, midtwens for their mid and old veterans for their central defence; not so Union that play with a rather old five offensive players. It's one heck of a romantic understanding and well worth your personal, private hype.
Then their qoq youngsters Schäfer, Leite and Ryerson certainly look like they clicked and are EPL worthy. Keep in mind 23 years is still no age. The fact we are "overhyping" record breaking teenagers should not go against Union's very much "hypeable" scouting and acquisition strategy. One that's anyway not based on creating huge revenues (was it 15M they are looking for p a.?) - Leite alone will generate twice that.
And then there's Fischer. Name a non top sixes EPL side that wouldn't sack half their staff for the guy and his team. Fine, perhaps not what you had in mind, but still very much worth a hype, which will soon be proven by tabloids linking Fischer to a dozen clubs that want him so desperately.

But then, no need for a hype anyway! Given their budget, it should be relatively easy for them to achieve a break-even at least next summer; a successful German side has no problems selling for a high price in pounds. The squad is not all dead meat acounting-wise, and will have to be restructered and tapered soon anyway, so there is every chance for them to grow into a new and stronger form of themselves, and some risks of failing, and it will be intersting to see; but there's hardly any doubt they will be among the saldo winners next summer, including a possible buy in january. Pounds are just too cheap for EPL sides to not have this outcome, hype or not.
What does "PL-worthy" even mean? They are leading Bundesliga, of course the players could play somewhere in other top leagues. But that's hardly the same as justifying a big money transfer. The team is much, much better than the sum of its parts. The club and Fischer deserve a lot of credit for that, but that also means their players are bait, because they won't be able to replicate their form elsewhere. Especially the defenders, who greatly profit from the fact that the entire team around them is well organized and hard-working against the ball. Clubs are going to pick up their players on the cheap, when their contracts happen to run out. Otherwise they will stay away.

Apparently Freiburg's Christian Günter has now started 142 games in a row, missing just 29 minutes of action over the last 3.5 years.
Unbelievable stat... during this time he also played some matches for Germany (5 matches, 4 as a sub, about 160 minutes, so not much, but still, he made those travels etc)
I know you think that he's a midtable striker at best @hasanejaz88, but that was a pretty sweet goal from Moukoko. With his weak foot, too.

The doctors tell that that they could atleast feel a hamstring tear. More they can tell later or tomorrow (Bayern played away) when they can examine more accurately in their office.
So it for sure will not be less than 2 weeks but if they can feel something with their hands it usually is not one of the smaller injuries.
I hate to say it, but that gives me no hope for Davies to even participate in the World Cup. The best case scenario is him being out for 2 weeks, and that's if he gets really lucky.

Both were good strikes but Reimann was at fault for both, don't know what he was doing on them. Moukoko is doing better lately but still don't think he's at the level of worldclass talent, missed a sitter afterwards again.
I thought he turned 18 already but he's still 17 for a few more weeks so hopefully he can continue to improve.
Would be interesting to see if Flick will take him to the world cup, a slot has opened up with Werner's injury.

This game was always going to be tough, considering the recent schedule of the EL/CL clubs and Wolfsburg's pretty decent form. To be honest I expected much worse after the quick 0:1, you can only expect so much against a ultra defensive team when your front free is Malen, Moukoko and Adeyemi, with Süle as RB. But you need to take your chances (or have a little bit more luck with the penalty call) and Dortmund didn't.
