What do you guys think of the winners?I agree with everything except for TLOU 2 winning the Best Visual Design. Should have gone for Ghost of Tsushima easily. It’s the best thing about the game.

What does visual design mean exactly? TLOU2 was run of the mill post-apocalypse visually, in my opinion. Nothing we haven't seen a thousand times before but this time with extreme fidelity.

As said above, Tshusima looked beautiful. The character designs in Hade are incredible.

You know you're kind of old when you've been home all year and still played none of these :(

December doesn't exist according to these guys? There's only the small matter of one of the most anticipated games in years still arriving.

Wasn't TLOU2 heavily criticized for it's storytelling?
Mostly by angry nerds I think.

Having said that, I've played it for 2 hours and it's been collecting virtual dust in my psn library.

Hades shouldve won this. It's brilliant.

Hades is a great game, and I don't normally like that genre because I'm shite.

Crash Bandicoot 4 is probably the best looking game on the PS4 I've seen recently. Though I gather the more realistic settings of certain games gains more praise nowadays, unfortunately.

It won the Critic's Choice award, so that counts for something.

TLOU2 was probably the best game I’ve ever played. I experienced such a whirlwind of emotions from playing it and after finishing it, it remained on my mind. I was really blown away.

Shame GOT came out the same year as I think that’s my second favourite game after TLOU2. It deserves its recognition.

Surprised Ghost didn't get some sort of recognition, also shocked Last of Us received so many awards.

Hades is still my GoTY.
