Which is my logic too - so I don’t get the whole “they should never play again because the signed up for LIV” weird.I just want the best golfers competing against each other as often as possible

The one thing I don't want to see is them taking the place of tour players who stayed loyal without somehow earning a spot. Maybe Q school or something is the answer.Which is my logic too - so I don’t get the whole “they should never play again because the signed up for LIV” weird.

Which was my take too. I think something like this would be entirely fairThe one thing I don't want to see is them taking the place of tour players who stayed loyal without somehow earning a spot. Maybe Q school or something is the answer.
This is where I am at as well. Let them take the normal route to gain tour status again.I understand why most of them joined LIV, and they all knew the implications.
No one, should be given their tour card back without actually qualifying.
Whether it's through Q-school or whatever it's called, the European Tour, the Asian Tour or similar. They should actually qualify for those tours as well, not just be handed a membership or status because of accomplishments of yesteryear.
Some have excemptions to ceratin tournaments and majors through winning certain tournaments previously, which is fair, but that should be the only torunaments they should be allowed to enter without qualifying.
(And don't get me started on sponsor picks - that should be abolished altogether)
However, if they do qualify in one way or another, they should absolutely be welcome back.
That window has closed has it not?Same rule as Brooks and Reed should apply.
Yeah, looks like he’ll have a one shot lead going in to the final round. That would be some achievement if he wins and firmly put him in the public eye over in the US.Alex Fitzpatrick is leading the Truist Championship! Imagine if he gets a win under his belt now!

Reitan has definitely gone under the radar. Because golfers practice so much together, you usually here one or two whisperings about players before they start getting results. In the case of Reitan there was virtually nothing until last year on the DP Tour. People are starting to take notice now though.Reitan playing some amazing golf as well. Two rookies out in the lead on sunday - hopefully one of them will prevail.
To add on - how Alex is doing is a good reminder for those who only follow the PGAT that the top end of the DPWT is really strong. I fully expect Penge to make a similar impact in the PGAT in time, as I do for Puig once the LIV nonsense is put out of its misery. The qualification route from DPWT to PGAT is great and hopefully there to stay.
First time I've ever been accused of British bias!Saying all of this without mentioning Reitan as well is British bias or something?
First time I've ever been accused of British bias!
Singling out the Brit because of the fact he's already a winner. Reitan is doing really well but I think long term he's not at Penge or Puig level, which is why I name them. Do you see more in Reitan?
Yes, Rory said something like „there‘s no strategy off the tees needed“ and the green complexes are what’s gonna decide the winner.Major week!
Who'll win ? (Scheffler/McIllroy bets not allowed!)
Trying to read up a bit on the golf course - and it seems to be favor good putters and short game players.
In no particular order, I think Morikawa, Matty Fitz, Harman, Spaun and Cantlay will be in contention, but I think Cam Young will win his first major.
I guess both Rahm and Hatton will make some noise as well.
Hoping for a scandi dominated leaderboard with the Højgaard brothers, Noren, Åberg, Hovland and Reitan all in the top 20.
Well, par is actually meaning something. The course looks like feck all.
It's a different brand of golf on a different style of course. The players do not play on much DR greens often so playing on those crowned greens (similar to Pinehurst) is penal to the extent that the greens repel most shots & hold the great ones. There's also little rough around the greens which exacerbates shots which don't hold the green. Pinehurst is lauded for their green complexes & Aronimink deserves the same. It’s a great course, but it’s (as per usual..) set up in such away that good shots are getting unfairly punished IMO. But that is what they seem to want. The players will have to stay patient and not let there emotions get in the
