Golf 2026

Looks like thomas was the one to make the move. Just a bit too far back to be in contention I think.

Coverage could be awful today. Too many players in contention, too many shots to show

I was thinking that US has 3 majors, uk 1. I can understand the history and why US should have the majority of majors. But isn’t it about time that Europe gets a major too? I know it will mess up history and traditions but is more representative of golf today. Especially the success Europe has had in Ryder cup. Just a thought.
You can have the PGA Championship, it's a trailer park major.

It’s wide open… pick a winner.

Exciting finale.

Mcilory lag putting has been fantastic but irons not great. Even there after a 380 yd drive on 9 couldn't even give himself a putt for Eagle

He’s not quite firing yet, think the others will need to come to him today, but it on,y takes 1 hole to get him firing.

Rory's limiting his mistakes so far, which doesn't hurt if you look at the others around him. But not taking advantage of a par 5 after a 380 yard drive in the fairway is not what wins you majors.

Mcilroy hasn't even given himself a birdie look since the 2nd apart from the par 5. Must not have had one within 30

Crazy that 6 under might win it. This is going to go right to the 18th. Big chance of playoff.

Still think someone gets to 7
A bit crazy that no one is really going for it. Rory is just sleep walking. Rahm had a great start and gave it up. Cam Smith has been crazy saving bad shots. Who knows what will happen. It is there for the taking if someone is brave enough.

Rory has still so much more to give here more than anyone. One birdie could see a run of 2 or 3

Aaron Rai looking impressive.

Brilliant second shot from Rai at the 16th.

Great stuff for Rai, delighted for him. Quiet guy going about his business but shows up in big competitions. Solid player who took advantage of a major where none of the big names separated themselves, he has stuck himself in a position to win and never wavered.

Great stuff from the Europeans in general, Americans getting their arses kicked this year.
