They've only been back in the top flight for 2 seasons. They should be an easy game, then again Milan was supposed to be easier than they were.

Exactly. Granda will probably go very defensive making it a slog. Need our strikers to wake up.

After Copenhagen last year, I’m not taking any minnows lightly. Their goalie could Friedel it up like the Copenhagen one did last year. That fecking guy played like Yashin reborn.

I also think the better teams make us play better too.

Should be an easy route to the semis honestly.

Ajax or Roma won't be an easy tie though (if United make it that far).

I can see an Ajax vs Arsenal final, or an all English final.

Quarters:
Granada/MAN UTD v Ajax/Roma

Dinamo Zagreb/Villarreal v ARSENAL/Slavia Prague

Semis:
MAN UTD v Ajax

Villarreal v ARSENAL

Can't really call the semi between Ajax and United if that's the tie though, United are far too inconsistent but hopefully Pogba being back gets the team playing on all cylinders.
Ajax are having a really strong season in the league. 20 wins out of 25 games and 3 draws is not bad at all. They weren't that far from get through the CL groups stage, only for narrow losses against Liverpool and Atalanta. I think they'll deal comfortably with Roma.
We need to be healthy, in form and show the right attitude if we want to play in the final. I hope Cavani and Greenwood have banged 2/3 goals each by then as confidence will definitely help them.

It wouldn't have been unfair if Molde eliminated Granada last night. And Molde is a tiny club, out of season, who had to play their home game in Hungary. Very unimpressed with what I saw from Granada over two games against Molde. If those two matches in any way represent their level, it should be a walk in the park for Utd.

Thinking up of my next genius thread
All I am saying is if referees would be able to drive drones to keep up with the play instead of running about they would not miss penalties they may give us in this game

They're a weak team that play anti-football.

There's a story every few months involving Granada getting fined. One time they arrived late, another time they didn't return footballs and a third time they broke the record for the most yellow cards received. They won't step onto the pitch with the intention of playing a football match. The ref can easily decide the game. It's in our favour that there are 2 games.

With Ajax's suspensions of Andre Onana and their failure to register their 25M striker, I think Villa Real is strongest side, with Ajax 2nd and Roma 3rd.

Our counter attacking game is well suited for Ajax.

We are favourites to win this thing

I hope we approach this like the first leg vs Real Sociedad.

Let's get the job done early so we can rest and mix it up for the 2nd leg.

Smash them 5 nil in the first leg and kill the tie off. We can then rest Rashford and Bruno and whomever else we are overplaying.

I knew it would be one of the Spanish clubs, we get them whenever possible. Then again this really shouldn't be a problem. As you said kill the tie off in the first leg and then rest some players

Ole has broken his cup draw curse in style

If we take them lightly they could pull our pants down as our lowest level is truly woeful. But we should be in the semi versus Ajax or Roma, and we should fear no one from the other side of the draw in the final.

Hello Mudda, hello Fadda
Here I am at Camp Granada.
Camp is not so entertaining,
All we do is quarantine and never training.

My roommate is Eric Bailly.
He’s good craic but not so tidy.
He tripped on his own detritus,
Went and gave himself achilles tendonitis.

All the coaches told the players,
Early bedtimes, say your prayers.
While we romp with Insta-models
They’ll be dreaming of sneaking in some McDonald’s.

Now the media has misquoted
Ole saying I caught covid.
It’s not true ma, I never caught it,
Though Cavani Rashford Pogba Fred and Shaw did.

Dearest Father, darling Mother,
Seems Granada had our number.
Lots of panting, loads of puffing,
But they still went and beat us six goals to nothing.

Ma I didn’t even feature.
Blame this clueless P.E. teacher.
Wasn’t what I asked from santa
When he got me my transfer from Atalanta.

Your loving son, Amad.

It's the first thing I thought of - and if you could speak, what a fascinating tale you would tell.

Yeah, United always play to the level of their opponent. World class against City and dogshit against Sheffield and somewhere in between against the rest.

I think Ajax were better last season and the season before that than they are now and I think our counter attacking game is perfect to play against Ajax too, like you said hopefully Cavani and Greenwood have a few goals by then and Rashford will be over his injury problems.

Been to Granada 3 times. Lovely city. Skiing in the Sierra Nevada and a trip around the Alhambra.
Also the tapas. Bloody hell the tapas.

Milan are 2nd in serie a and never were supposed to be an easier game. Just the arrogance of our fans in dismissing them. That Milan side would have knocked out Arsenal and with all their players fit could have even knocked us out. Granada on the other hand should be an easier side.

I could have told everyone we’d get Grenada yesterday. We get the toughest draw possible every time.
