I think he's better than Dorgu. Much tidier with the ball.

Hard not to think we could have got someone better than dorgu if we waited until summer
Agreed. I keep hoping they’ve seen something in Dorgu that we haven’t yet.
There’s no gurantee any other option would have been cheaper or were available to join.
Let’s give Dorgu a season before we start to write him off as Amorim develops his team. Hopefully he’ll shine with the right players, our attacking players have been awful.
But £30m isn't cheap, and for not too much more I think we could have got someone much better e.g. ait nouriThere’s no gurantee any other option would have been cheaper or were available to join.

Honestly don't get the issue, he's not the smallest either. Some have mentioned he's not the tallest but I wouldn't be too bothered for the following reasons
Yes.A very improved version of Shaw? Are you suggesting he is better than Shaw was at the same age?
At the same age Shaw was in the Premier League team of the season, a full England senior international and the most expensive teenager in world football.Yes.
Shaw was far ahead at the same age, injuries really fecked him.Yes.
HahahaYes.
And you still find posters on here who can never see anything other than the manager and coaches are always right by them. Yeah forson was an even worse case, ETH was an absolute hypocrite.Omari Forson being favoured was the more unforgivable one. Genuinely incredible looking back.
Tap the f*cking brakes...
The lad had a really nice game against Wolves, he looked like he really belonged and hopefully, going forward, will develop into a fine LWB.
However, crowning him the new superstar at this stage is bloody ridiculous. And quit with the slagging off of Dorgu...young lad, new country, new team, new everything...and after a handful of games, some of which he has shown real potential...some of you want to ditch him?!?

He would have to be a good chance to start on the weekend wouldn't he?
Or Dorgu?Probably. I expect Mazraoui to be rested
Or Dorgu?
I didn't get to see the game but by all reports he wasn't too good.
Manager said Dorgu needs a restIt will depend on fitness, but I don't expect Dorgu needs a rest? Maybe second half he comes off?
Manager said Dorgu needs a rest
No way Amad is starting. He'll get at most 25 mins on Sunday. Get his match fitness up a little whilst trying to minimise risk and fatigue.Oh if that's the case Amass will definitely play, maybe Amad starts the other wing
I doubt Maz will playCan Amass play on the right? I'm expecting job sharing between him, Maz and Shaw on the weekend
Who else? I don't think Amad will play the 90 and Dorgu seemingly needs a break as wellI doubt Maz will play
I would love it if Kamason got a chance.Who else? I don't think Amad will play the 90 and Dorgu seemingly needs a break as well
What about Mantato?I would love it if Kamason got a chance.
No idea but the manager said post game he needed a rest. Given Dalot is also injured I don’t see him being risked in a nothing gameWho else? I don't think Amad will play the 90 and Dorgu seemingly needs a break as well
I thought it was obvious after thursday. One Harry on each wing back.Who else? I don't think Amad will play the 90 and Dorgu seemingly needs a break as well

Not a good day for him. The bit about him not being able to cross a ball is bollocks though.I know he is young, but he can’t compete in the premier league. He is physically about able to be competitive. He contributed to three of the goals because he couldn’t win a relatively easy second ball, and he couldn’t follow his man for the second goal. Then for the third goal, he doesn’t stop a cross.
His attacking ability is just as poor as he can’t even cross the ball.
I don’t like to make judgements out on young players, but for this position it is clear he won’t compete. I’m sure he won’t be playing next season regularly.
