Hahahaha.

Our World Cup XI will be:

Sterling - Kane - Foden
Philips - Mount - Rice
Shaw - Walker - Maguire - Trent
Pickford

You can almost guarantee it.
Walker at left centre back?

Southgate likes “his” men. It’s a space in the team since I think Stones will vanish into obscurity again.

I certainly wouldn’t put Walker at left CB. But I in no way would be shocked if Southgate does it.

Why would he move Maguire to RCB away from his club team mate to move a RB to LCB?

Is Kane going to be motivated to put in a shift at Tottenham? Don’t think anyone will take his place in the England squad.
Also - doesn’t Kane have a “gentleman’s agreement” with Levy? Imagine what others in the squad will think? Can’t run an organization without employees trusting each other.
Selling him is the right decision.
If youve got a gentlemans agreement with any premier league chairman and you think its worth anything then youre a bit of a mug. If youve got one with Daniel Levy though then youre completely out to lunch.

Well if these "gentleman's agreement" are u-tunred by the said chairman, then he has himself to blame when the player down tools.

Believe it or not, a gentleman's agreement is still a thing.

A verbal contract isnt worth the paper its written on. Suarez had a gentlemans agreement to leave liverpool if they got a bid of over x amount (i cant remember how much). Arsenal bid over that amount and Liverpool denied any such agreement existed. It works because players whove done well at a club dont want to undermine their legacy there so dont want to go down the messy Di Maria route to force a transfer. Harry Kane isnt going to down tools and get into a lengthy and reputationally damaging dispute with his club when he's got years left on his contract. Levy will sell, but only when he gets an offer that exceeds the players remaining usefulness. 29 seems the age when clubs like Spurs and Arsenal decide to cash in on forwards, just before diminishing returns set in. Before they hit the 30 marker as that devalues the asset

Suarez had an actual clause in his contract for 40m. We just decided to not oblige it anyway when arsenal offered £40.000.001 and then made him apologize to his team mates for how he acted in trying to join Arsenal. Then he produced his best season for us afterwards.

He's one of a kind though. For better and for worse.

What footballer is thick enough to think a "gentleman’s agreement" without inserting a clause, Modric came out with the same bullshit but later on regretted how his time ended at Spurs, personally I think any agreement was something like "if we get a suitable off we will accept it". Kane thinks his value is £100M with is laughable considering City are spunking £100M on Grealish, if City bid what the club thinks he is worth he will go, if not he will stay. Yes it could get messy but its up to Kane to hand in the request and go from there.

What the rest of the squad think? I think people look to much into this, we have already signed 2 players with another 2 expected soon as well as our second best player committing his future to us.

He prostituted himself in public. Now, he has gone on a strike. This behavior isn't exactly suitable for the captain. City, unfortunately, is the instigator.

Seems incredibly out of character. I actually don't believe he's just skippped training to force a move.
I can believe it if the club has lied to him. Why should he behave properly to them if they are treating him like shit?

Have a feeling this will be like the Varane not turning up to training. "Oh wait...there he is"

Surely Man City can’t buy both Kane and Grealish, what’s going on here then he must have some kind of offer from someone?

Maybe He has an injury or training elsewhere.

Sky don't know everything.

Also I'm pretty sure 2 days ago they said Kane would be taking longer holiday period.

So which is it Sky?

They might have just have done all the groundwork with Grealish in case Kane didnt go through

If we know Haaland isn't coming, use next season's budget this season and sign him.

We need a striker more than people here realise. We haven't even had a player score more than 18 PL goals since RvP scored 26 PL goals in SAF's final season, coming up 10 years.

EDIT: My 10,000th post. Christ i'm a virgin.

With another 3 years on his contract, this is the only way a club can seriously buy him this summer. He needs to keep kicking up a fuss so Spurs come to the table a bit.

Do you have privy as to what this agreement was? Im guessing its not "we will sell you for any price to anyone".

If Grealish is worth £100M to City, how much is Harry worth to them?
