Has social media changed players attitudes towards the club and its fans.

Criticism of players has been around since the day football started but never on the scale it is now we have Youtube, Newspapers, Redcafe, and countless other outlets, so it becomes very hard for players to avoid it nowadays.
So with the level of criticism that players recieve do you think it makes them less attached to a club and its fans.

So with the level of criticism that players recieve do you think it makes them less attached to a club and its fans.
Maybe, the players only heard dissent at games, phone ins or on forums like this. Now it is everywhere, but they are quite happy to use social media to promote their own agendas and merchandise, so not much sympathy really. It works both ways. They put the effort in then they will get the praise.

People who are lots on twitter forget that just 30% of the population is on there - and they think that the small sterotyped subset that screams loudest is a representation of the general public. Crazy. Even some pundits thinks this.
