Genuinely interested as to why you think this?It seems to me Lpool are on a decline.

A team that loses 6-1 to Stoke is shit! We did nearly win the title the season before but make no mistake, we were not even a shadow of that side in 2015. Suarez had gone, Sturridge was on the physio table more than he was on the pitch and our defence was just as bad as the 2014 season without the goals from our strikers to cover for themGenuinely shit is a bit strong; they nearly won the league the season before.
Yeah I was being a bit unfair, they were quite bad still - genuinely a 6th-8th team. Chelsea 2016 were far better than Liverpool 2015 though; Liverpool had lost Suarez, Sturridge had fallen to injuries and they were carrying an aging Gerrard while Chelsea still had HazardGenuinely shit is a bit strong; they nearly won the league the season before.

And a good day that was for me but that was an anomaly (yes I know you lost 5-0 to Newcastle around the same time but you were winning leagues left, right and centre). We lost 6-1 to Stoke and that was the culmination of a season of poor performances. The only surprise about that year was that Rodgers wasn't sacked in the summer. We were going backwards at a rate of knots and the football wasn't even entertaining.we lost 6-3 to Southampton in our pomp!
His players are in no way 'ordinary'. He's a great manager but some of his players are extraordinary. I'll give him credit for spotting talent and getting them cheap before they level up though (Mane, Robertson, Wijnaldum) and he's continuing with that by signing Jota. He's a very canny manager and levels above the field at the moment.I think Klopp has to take much of the credit for taking a fairly ordinarily bunch of players and combining simple but effective tactics with motivational skills and inhuman fitness levels to achieve what he has.
People used to say this about Ferguson - "No competition" etc - but the fact is that he was just better. He's just smarter and as you've identified much more driven and his players are too. You won't be hearing about Van Dijk clobbering coppers or Salah shagging goats in a mosque anytime soon. Unfortunately for United fans we either get Pochettino and a new board or watch them sweep everyone aside till about 2024.I look at the competition and their football (which is very meh a lot of the time), and I’m thinking no one wants it as much as they do. That seems to be the difference between them and City anyway. The rest don’t have the quality in the players or the manager.
I'm sorry? You won't be hearing about Van Dijk clobbering coppers or Salah shagging goats in a mosque anytime soon.
I ain't talking.Genuinely interested as to why you think this?
Sorry, didn't realise we were still at primary schoolI ain't talking.
P.S. I dont like you
This, its quite likely they could finish high 80's for points and still win the league by 8 or 9.i was convinced that last season was their peak. They were uncontested in the League & had insane luck with injuries. I also believed it would be difficult to keep their level of intensity as the monkey was off their backs in regards to winning the PL.
I don't think they'll rack up the wins & points they did last season but they won't need to.
Like I said, they have peaked...They won’t have to reach 100, they’ll still walk the league.
one gameLike I said, they have peaked...
Wouldn’t have happened last season...one game
Which isn't even over. I would not be at all surprised to see them come back to win, even from here.one game
Wtf is this?! Idiot. You won't be hearing about Van Dijk clobbering coppers or Salah shagging goats in a mosque anytime soon.
That's the worry. If Klopp keeps winning stuff with liverpool (which is very possible now) Im not so sure he will walk away in 2024.
Which isn't even over. I would not be at all surprised to see them come back to win, even from here.
I'm going the other way and I'm going to rewind Sky and watch your match againHoly shit. Only just seen their score as I've tried to block out anything football related since about the 15th minute of our match today.
Yep definitely. Gomez and Van Dijk have nothing struggled with it recently.Theyve looked dodgy at the back for a while now. This high line needs to go. They kept getting away with it and getting away with it but it looks as if thats catching up on them.
It’s a difficult one, cause on the one hand it got us 99 points, but on the other hand it requires an immense amount of concentration and mental fortitude as well as a sweeper keeper. Usually we’re fine, but when it unravels it can go spectacularly wrong. The biggest problem was the lack of pressure from the midfielders, an area we missed Henderson a lot in today.Yep definitely. Gomez and Van Dijk have nothing struggled with it recently.
