Well the good thing is there's going to be plenty of time ahead to work on that set game.

It's the variation in the corners that needs to be worked upon. We have been trying to take straight corners instead of the near post flick or other variations.
It's the same with our free kicks. Remember the Martial goal against City which was created by Bruno? We haven't done that for a long time now.

Don't think the data and numbers are going to be a good indicator of how good/bad someone is at heading the ball. Corners are very crowded, getting your head to the ball is not a good indicator, because it fails to consider how tightly the player is marked or the position of his body when he makes contact with the ball. Sometimes just getting your head to the ball is an achievement in itself, which then skews the data.
Just from the eye test, it does seem that Maguire misses chances that he should at least be hitting on target.

We've been one of the taller teams of the league going back a few seasons (Maguire, Bailly, Pogba, Matic, Lukaku, McT etc) but we've been consistently shite at scoring from corners regardless. This is a long-standing issue, which didn't start this season.
It's all about the delivery, you can have 10 guys who are 6 ft 4 in the box and if the delivery is not right they won't ever score.

There's hasn't been a player in the squad who could consistently deliver quality balls into the box from open play or set pieces. Eriksen might be able to do it from set peices but over all the standard of crossing and set peice delivery has been shocking for a long long time.

Yeah Eriksen is the first player we have had that geniunely puts in a dangerous ball from set pieces and corners consistently. I'd assume we'll score a few as long as he keeps it up. But before him we didn't have any great ones. Bruno is alright at it but only closer to goal, Pogba could have been great at it but obviously you'd want him in the box instead, and everyone else is genuinely bad unless Telles was playing.
