Tbh he said himself that he went into a dark room sitting there contemplating bad performances during his first season at Dortmund.

Imagine if he's taken off now at Ht. His summer ruined.
How things turn!

Football!

He even managed to score while falling over for the twentieth time in the game so far. Will probably score off his arse now.

Poor first half, but fair play to him, he always scores in europe and showed great passion in the second half, new player.

Despite the goal he does nothing until now (minute 70s). All of our attacks come from Fellaini, Mata, and Rasford.

Even when we counter with Rashford of ball, he does not even bother to sprint out. No fighting spirit at all.

Ah, now he is being substituted. Good move, Mou. Nothing player he is.

Tbf he wasn't too bad after that goal. The first half he was poor though. He seems to love playing in Europe though.

He looked so out of it in the first half but still managed to muster something up.

FYI in a bad season for Micki he still managed 7 goals and 4 assists in cup games.

6 goals in 11 matches in this competition. Our highest scorer. Didn't have a good game, but scored and was a major part of winning this trophy. I'm confident his second season will see better overall performances.

'Ucking Miki.

Hot and cold performance but, once again, the man delivers when it matters. He has sooooo much ability but we only see flashes of it. But tonight, it meant the world to us. Well done Henrickh boiiiiiii!

Apart from the goal it was a dreadful performance. Losing the ball in the PL can be understood given the physicality but this is an Ajax teenagers team.

I wanted him to be substituted at half time. He was a red card waiting to happen. Fair play though, he kept his head and no one else on the pitch would have improvised like he did for the goal.

Well, Miki, come back stronger. You can do a lot better, but nice and important goal.

Terrible in the 1st half.

Better in the 2nd and he scored a brilliant crucial second. We finally had a bit of a cushion in a big game this season.

Hopefully he improves next season, but his contribution to our Europa campaign has made it all worth it.

the last couple of pages of this thread were comedy gold. beautiful.
Meh. He was playing especially poorly. It doesn't make people posting about that in the wrong.

Really glad he got a goal though. Think it'll do his confidence well.

He was dogshit in the first half, he scored the goal, fair play, but his first half was still shambolic. He looked better in the second, tracking back much better and not losing the ball so often.
