Players who came through the academy of the club and signed professional forms with them, only!
So one club men?
United Xi from Fergie/big Ron years

No that would be too hard
Players who made their breakthrough after coming through the ranks not bought in
Valdes - Puyol, Bartra, Pique, Alba - Busquest, Cesc/Thiago, Xavi - Pedro, Messi, Iniesta
That's just one/two generation(s). Incredible.
Can't think of a proper GK, LB or ST.
Ferrer-Pique-Puyol-Jordi Alba (Yes, he was at La Masia)
Crazy that the majority of them were world class and all played together (bar Ferrer).

No Ronny DeBoer?
Totally forgot Edwards! Will edit now.
Criminally under-rated, but to be fair he probably had to make way for Bergkamp here.
Other notables Tony Marchi, Jimmy Neighbour, John Pratt, Vinny Smaways and Keith Weller...
Never rated him!
Carvajal Sanchís De Felipe Camacho
Not even the bench though? Super player
Oh yeah definitely and although he took up Bergkamp's role from recollection, if you're wanting anyone for the right side of the midfield or attack he'd be the man for it.

Pretty sure Martin Chivers started at Southampton...
I'm pretty sure your right lol back to the drawing board, not easy this. FIXED.
This is a great team, but do Johnny Rep and Arie Haan not qualify......
Eriksen shouldn't really as he was an Odense Boldklub player at 18, although a Middelfart lad as a youngster
Could John Pratt or Jimmy Neighbour not play RM? Or even Keith Weller...pretty sure he played #7 for Leicester City.
I will go with Pratt as I never heard of Neighbour if I am being totally honest.
Great shouts, forgot all about Barmby, my favorite player as a kid due to a certain diving header. I don't even remember who it was against.
