Jacob's Ladder is quite haunting, if you haven't seen that.

I don't really think of Jacob's Ladder as a horror movie. But it's a great movie nevertheless!

Saw the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the first time last night. The cat and mouse with the female lead at the end and her visceral screams were pretty disturbing.

Finished Ju-On: Origins. A bit confusing and not that scary but is quite disturbing. Only six 30 minute eps so worth a watch.

While not a horror as such it builds up a feeling of dread well and major bonus, the characters aren't stupid and actually think about whats the best action to take not just run around screaming
