Love the new Maguire song. Instant Stretford end hero.

Harry Maguire, Harry Maguire, come from Leicester to Manchester, his head's f***ing massive. Stuck on repeat in my head.

Sung a miriad of times. A few Wan Bassaka chants. A Daniel James song. The Ole at the wheel was back with gusto.

But no Pogba song, which perhaps sums up the mood amongst fans and after the game he continued to leave the door open to a departure.

A great morale boosting 4-0 victory with Maguire looking superb.. but Chelsea paid the price for fancying their chances and we picked them off on the counter attack.

A well organised Wolves side may well provide a stiffer challenge and won't be so open. Meaning we may have to rely in a high press and greater creativity through midfield.

Yes the first 25m against a weakened Cbelsea side was rather woeful and was more of what we saw ar the tail end of last season. But the nerves went, the confidence grew and the passing was crisper and sharper once.we went ahead with the penalty.

McTominay, seems to get better and better and some of his distribution from deep along with his tackling was a joy to behold. Matic definitely not missed.

We need to be more than a counter attacking side, but hey that was as thrilling a result as we have had in the past year. Even if Pereira, assist or not, still looks wayward and Shaw now looks like the weakest link in defence.

Promising....and a new fan favourite is born

Is this about the Maguire song or a summary of the game?

Nothing really rhymes with *Pogba*, and I genuinely wonder if that's part of it.

Harry Maguire, Harry Maguire, come from Leicester to Manchester, his head's f***ing massive doesnt seem to rhyme very well.

Just listened, awful chant, just doesn't work

Yeah I’m not getting it at all, I’m trying over and over in my head to get it to work and it just doesn’t.

Are we missing a line from the song?

England fans originated the song with references to drinking Jager and vodka in place of the Leicester and Manchester stuff. That doesnt rhyme either

Will he have to come out and ask the fans to stop singing about the size of his head?

I'm not sure insulting our new signings is the way to go

What next? "wan-bissaka, wan-bissaka, came from Palace and a massive wanker?"

You don’t need it to rhyme majorly if it’s the central word to the song. You could use a song like ‘rock the casbah’ as the base of the chant.
It would need to be better than this but something along the lines of
‘Your team don’t like him
Doo do doo
He’s Paul Pogba
He’s scored one past ya’

EDIT: forgot that palace used rock the casbah for wan Bissaka

Indeed. Pinch Chelsea's Drogba chant and replace with Pogba.

You mean the click bait mis quote from sky? This topic is nearly as shite as their reporting.

"Daniel James, he was cheap, runs fast, please hide your sheep."

Luke Shaw
Luke Shaw
He came from Southampton
His arse is f*cking massive

David De Gea
he's not the same player
he's been kinda lax
since we couldn't send a fax

It will never catch on in the ground. Fine for a pub song. But it's mainly shit.

Guess someone with better memory can answer this, during SAF period, did players get instant song the moment they joined the club or they had to earn it in some way.

Asking because recent years post SAF, we dropping songs for players/managers before they even kicked the ball. It doesnt bother me, was just wondering.
