Much has been said about the lack of quality in our squad and the shortcomings of Solskjaer as a manager, but I feel that one important factor has been overlooked in those discussions, and that is the unfortunate amount of injuries we had to put up with in the last months.
Sometimes things must be put into perspective. If Guardiola's Manchester City can suffer a lot when De Bruyne is injured (lost 0-2 at home to Wolverhampton today), then it's fair to assume that a worse squad, with less depth, such as ours, will suffer way more with the injury of players such as Martial and Pogba.
I'm not trying to save the players and Solskjaer from criticism, but I'd like to hear what you think about the subject.
Do you think more luck with injuries would make a big difference in our performances so far?
