What a way for Stevie to go. Last game at Anfield they lose 3-1 to Palace and now his last game, 4-0 down and it's not even HT at Stoke

Do the players care about new contract? Chance to prove your hunger for next season here.

We need Young out wide and Fellaini for an early ball.

The point is that one dropped catch shouldn't be 'more evidence', there really is little point in gathering 'evidence' regarding Valdes' ability to perform in the premier league from this match due to the obvious circumstances, his injury, lack of game time and first start, as for any player they need some time to adjust, not just De Gea but older players too. Valdes also is 6 ft, not sure why you feel like making things up.
Even 6'0 (which I've seen on the internet but don't buy. At most he's 5'11 imo) is too small for a keeper in the BPL and it's not like it's the first time in his career Valdes has looked suspect from balls in the air either. I would be seriously worried if we were genuinely considering Valdes as our number 1 next season. It could be Fabien Barthez all over again. Even Thibaut Courtois said Valdes wasn't big enough for the Premier League. Size does matter in the Premier League, to pretend that it doesn't is illogical. He's okay as a number 2, but never a number 1.

I dont understand how the team has been set up to score?

As a back 4 it looks stable enough, yet our central midfield 3 struggle to acheive anything other than passing it incredibly slowly to our wide men, who then pull it back to the midfielders, who then lose possession to hull.

What is rooney supposed to do in this setup? he's not going to get on the end of crosses against hull, he needs movement around him to create space for shots, or to be slipped inside. the only player with the pace to get past somebody outwide is valencia, and we all know he wont do that.

    Baffling.

FFS, we are playing like its an end of season game with nothing to play for. Annoying.

Herrera nearly nips in on the end of a Young cross but doesn't quite connect with his shot with just Harper to beat.

This game could go on till start of next season and it'd still be 0-0.

A pretty dull first-half from United. They've had plenty of possession but offered little going forward. Rooney clipped the bar early on but apart from that Harper hasn't been troubled.

At the other end, Hull have had a number of good scoring opportunities and could easily be ahead if not for a great save from Valdes (and a couple of off-side goals).

They need a goal to have any chance of Premier League survival.
