Hull City Association Football Club (nicknamed The Tigers), are a professional football club based in Hull, England. They were founded on 28 June 1904 after previous attempts to found a football club had proved difficult because of the dominance in the city of rugby teams such as Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers. Hull's greatest achievement in cup competitions until 2014 was in 1930, when they reached the FA Cup semi-finals. The cup run saw Hull knock out the eventual champions of the Second and Third Divisions; Blackpool and Plymouth Argyle. They then knocked out Manchester City, and Newcastle United in the quarter-finals. After decades of turbulence, and languishing in lower leagues, Hull had a revival in fortunes at the start of the 21 st century - earning back to back promotions to the Championship in the mid 2000s, and subsequently to the Premier League in 2008. Hull's most prominent rivalries include Leeds United and Sheffield United; and they play their home games at the KCOM Stadium, Kingston upon Hull.

Play the same kind of team we played v Reading I'd say. Would love to see an attacking 3 of Martial, Rashford and Lingard.

Watch us have 1 shot on target and win the game 1-0.

Wish we could 4-0 or something to get positivity up again but we'll probably scrape a 1-0.

I'll miss this one but not too bothered, I'm sick of seeing Hull already this season. I'll go with:

    DDG
    Young, Smalling, Jones, Darmian
    Carrick, Herrera, Pogba
    Rooney, Martial
    Zlatan

SUBS - Fellaini (Herrera), Rashford (Martial), Mata (Rooney)

    Hull City 0 - 1 Manchester United
Mata to score in the last 15mins or something. Not expecting a good game, just a 'get the job done' performance.

As this is on Thursday with Wigan to follow on Sunday, I presume it will be a first XI in this line up with a rotated FA Cup team at the weekend.

Making hard work of Hull this season and they look much better under their new manager.

Feck me a Thursday?! Are they trying to give us more practice for when the Thursday-Sunday EL games start again?

Big game. Somewhat of a resurgent Hull and we'll need to make sure we get into the final.

So far away I get up 4am to just watch Utd on TV
I think Hull wil be (over) confident thanks to a couple of good performances lately. This will leave them open at the back as they make a go of it. Thus allowing the very speedy team Jose picks, to get in behind them, leading to a 3 - 1 win away from home and providing another opportunity to win at Wem - buh - lee

Because Us and Liverpool played today and Hull and Southampton are playing tomorrow so that ruled out the matches being on Tuesday/Wednesday like the first leg was.

Then they should've organised this weekend better. I can't ever remember league cup fixtures on a Tuesday.

I've heard that no team has ever turned a 2-0 defeat around in a LC semi. Stats on our side then but no room for complacency. Ibra on the bench for me. In fact, he shouldn't be needed until the Hull game in the PL or even the Leicester game, if things go well.

Carrick should control this one but there should be a game plan to support him and exploit the spaces left by them if they press him too hard and high. He's a bit slow, needs time and space to run a game.

    Gone 1-1 again.

I'm not impressed with Mourinho in the last two games, I think he's made too many unnecessary changes to the team and formation. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

He should just stick to his strongest XI, Chelsea and Spurs get away with it and there's no reason we shouldn't

I agree, he seems to reverting to his early season form during selection and substitutions.

Sure he's tinkered, but we really have done enough to win our games. Even before our winning run we were dominating play, attacking intently, and peppering a heroic goalkeeper every week. I can't see how people missing open goals and hitting the woodwork can be Mourinho's fault.

It's not his fault, but I don't think it helps matters. If you're good enough, you don't look at these misses and think "that could've won us the game" you think "we should have won by more"

I'd prefer him to just stick to what has worked. Imo if he kept Rojo and Jones as our CB's, we never concede today.
