He won't do it, he mentions it in an interview he did with Nev during the week. Actually he also offers a good insight as to why we collapse so much, but he says he' wouldn't do it as he'd probably mess it up.

I sort of agree with this approach to be honest. Maybe if we go a few goals up in one of the remaining matches I'd consider it but, honestly, I think he'll be able to create plenty of chances in our next few games anyway. Sunderland and Forest will, I think, give us plenty of opportunities.

NBA is fine it only allows one player an assist, try the NHL where up to two players can get credited with an assist... And pens are basically free goals, so beyond this instance I really hate the principle of shooters gloating over opponents with panenkas, weird run up's etc as if they're achieving something exceptional.

Holding an individual record is a testament to brilliance and something to admire.
If the record comes then great but it's not worth chasing it too much. Even If he ends the season with 19 assists it's a fantastic haul. Playing his natural game he will create plenty of chances and we just need our players to take some of them
