Another player lacking ambition, the wages will tell the story when that leaks.

He’s actually been very good in the Premier League, he could’ve easily gone to a CL contender and done well.

Such as who? If Everton value him at £70m that basically decimates his options outside of England. And the actual other “CL contender” English clubs have already picked up their wingers

3 of them are injured long term with 2 just back from their own long term injuries. But if they do get them all fit its 8 players for 3 positions with no European football. Their wage bill must be sky high now too.
 
He’s a class player. Brilliant singing for them. If Everton have taken Brazilian Richy back as part of the deal, and not for free, they’ve been absolutely mugged. He can’t stay fit. Legs are gone. Another mental Moyes decision. Grealish another one rumored to be coming in. They’ll have the oldest squad in the league with little to no funds to refresh the squad on a year or two and a current manager who does not want to play young players

I was one of those who thought he wouldn't adapt to PL die to his "bad attitude". Couldn't be more wrong. I think we would have been in a better place with Cherki and Semenyo over Cunha and Mbeumo, personally.

You’re probably right. Although I am a fan of Cunha and his personality is much needed in our dressing room. The bad attitude reports were probably because we was linked with him… we always get the bad press
 
It’s crazy how spurs are operating this summer. They really are buying new team. New striker, new wingers, new midfield, new defense.
 
Another player to add to Tel, Marmoush and Savinho that will run the ball fast towards goal and then make a poor pass or shot. They're collecting players who will have not enough end product

So the guy who got 11 goals and 4 assists last season, his legs have gone. But the guy who got 6 goals and 3 assists last season is a class player? :lol:

Richarlison - 0.69
Kudus - 0.41
Pape Sarr - 0.39
Simons - 0.36
Tel - 0.33
Pahlinha - 0.29
Romero - 0.24
Ndiaye - 0.23

But it's fine, because if there's one team where players definitely take a massive step up upon joining, it's Spurs.

who is the striker? They bought yet another winger and have 0 center forwards or that could play there at competent level

Well we did really want Semenyo but he chose City. We tried to sign Cherki when he was a teenager and hadn't even played for Lyon's first team.

For some reason when I see Cherki play I just get the feeling he wouldn't look as good playing for us, and the extra pressure and scrutiny that comes with playing for United would cause problems.
 
Have to admit - Ndiaye and Savio is really an exciting wing combo.

Obviously bit of positive PR for themselves. But here they do talk about getting a bad report from one of the previous coaches about Cherki from when he was young. He's probably matured enough now that it may not be a concern but he still appears to be quite moody from time to time.

Their new front three amassed 10 goals and 8 assists between them last season.

Marmoush is their new striker. They're hoping he will suddenly revert back to the form he showed before joining City.

We could have moved for Semenyo the summer we went for Mbeumo. We lined up both and pulled the trigger on Mbeumo in the end. Semenyo chose City, in January window.

That January window, he chose City obviously, probably cause we pissed him off in the summer previous.

I did rate Savio in Spain, and I do think there's potential for him to be a decent player for them but not to the level of his price tag and last season was quite poor.

His legs are well and truly failing. He played up front for a fair amount of those games so of course his stats are gonna be a little better than a player who was out wide and deep most of the time in Moyes’ setup, but if you watched a lot of him at Spurs last year, or spoke to any of their fans, you’d agree he has not got much left in the tank. His game is based on manic energy and pressure. Those type of players fall off a cliff earlier.

Ndiaye had a bit of a sulk on since November, but he is genuinely top class. He plays in a negative Moyes team, whose strikers can’t finish their dinner. Everything that’s good is either created by him or goes through him. Most Everton fans would agree he deserves the Champions League football he said he wanted, and wouldn’t begrudge him a move to a top 5 club which is why him going to spurs is a weird one. He is a class player though, and the prices coming out now (him at 60m and Richy at 35m) makes this even worse. He’s a much better player than Savio.

But the results are the opposite. After years of failing to live up to his transfer from Everton, he finally delivered and had a half decent return in a season where all the other players were struggling other than a guy on loan from Bayern that was going to be sent back. Now they're getting rid of the one other guy who was somewhat effective last season.
 
The downfall of Spurs this season will be glorious to watch, with these new shiny signing jumping ship at the end of the season like rats off the titanic.

We didn't want to pay the £70m for Semenyo and had been led to believe Mbuemo would be cheaper, but Brentford dicked both United and Mbuemo about and kept raising the price. Ended up costing pretty close to what Semenyo would have cost.

I don't think it's a big deal. At the time Mbuemo made more sense. Semenyo started the season on fire though wish caught City's attention.

Time will tell, bud. I feel for Everton fans. (My older brother being one).
They’ve been dealing with horrendous ownerships for as long as I’ve been following football ( mid 80’s) and this American ownership seems to be brutal as well. I just think this is, financially, a terrible deal. Especially when you look at what spurs have been paying this year. If it’s true that’s it’s a player swap and £25m essentially, god damn that’s bad.

I’d like to see their wage bill though, will it be sustainable without European football? The pressure to get that next season is going to be huge surely.

I think that depends on if Richarlison does the same again. Another 11 goals and 4 assists if hes starting for Everton and thats an improvement on Ndiaye. Your theory his legs are gone, well then he wont deliver the end product and will be well short of that. So lets see. I wont be surprised at all if Richarlison does more than Ndiaye

Again, depends where he’s played. If he’s played up front, then yes I’d expect him to nab a few goals. If it’s as a wide player, then he’s gonna pick up a lot of niggles.

He's not a striker though. Ekitike was Eintracht striker when he was there.
