That is a good move by Spurs, he is a good player.

Well, Spurs clearly signed him to play as their central striker. Even yesterday he played as their lone striker with Porro on the right wing and Tel on the left.
From limited knowledge Marmoush was better as more of a wing forward, not someone that leads the line. I mean sure you can stick him there but not optimal and from the limited good games at City he was best when coming from the left.
That would be another shite decision then. Richarlison is better leading the line for them, crap that he is.
He's already been at CL club, Marseille. Him and Ismalia Sarr were both there the same season and left after a year but Marseille isn't the easiest environment to fit in with fanbase seemingly permanently on edge with owners or manager. And players brawling with each other.
I'd have loved Ndiaye to sign for us (Villa) but we're signing Mbaye from PSG instead for under 50m.
If he reaches his potential he will be your next 100m sale. He will become homegrown in 3 years time(PL clubs definitely do like a bit of that) and be still quite young at 21 so in that sense I think its a better deal than Ndiaye for you.
Ah ok. To be honest, trying to put a more realistic wage structure in place is one of the few things I definitely agree with.
I am sure SAF might have these type of conversations a lot, in the end success on the pitch talks so its obvious players in demand choose clubs like Citi,Real,Bayern,Barca,Pool above us. I would love to have a pllayer like Cherki for us but we need to accept the reality.
I wish our management stop this decline on pitch so that we can look at bringing in the best players again.
City might have lot of recent success but our club has plenty of history, emotional attachment, huge world wide fan base, glorious moments which can be cherished for years so no one can beat that, having said that success speaks loud and hope our fortunes will turn around soon.
City have just as many misses as hits, moreso to be fair.

To be honest, if Richarlison manages to stay fit I wouldn't be surprised if he outscores all of Tel, Savio and Ndiaye combined.
And there was me thinking Pep knew what he was doing, regularly starting players like Grealish and Doku in title-winning seasons...
Although it certainly helps — not every player in the team needs to be scoring or assisting 20 goals a season. Having someone who is direct and runs at defenders, which worries defenders by making them sit back and/or double-up on them, can make a big difference. As I've said before, these are the type of players United are lacking at the minute.
I think you're placing too much on the price when they're all massively inflated these days, expecially when it involves PL players. United signed Baleba for £75m - following a season in which he looked like he'd won a competition to play football. Savio was £85m etc.
Anyway, it looks like City may be buying Ndiaye. It’ll be interesting to see if he can make the step up!

I called this immediately after the Ndiaye link first emerged. It felt inevitable that the Grealish transfer would subsequently happen. City up to their usual tricks.

What confuses me is having lost out on plan A & B, why Spurs have gone straight to plan Z with Mudryk.

Deal was also dependent on Everton agreeing terms with Richarlison which according to his very emotional Insta posts today did not happen. No exit for Richey means no 75M or whatever for Ndiaye but that is not a problem as they are now getting the emerging talent that is Mudryk.

Some really odd signings. Spurs and city have really gone mad and are just throwing money around at this point. I can't see Ndiaye being a success at city, he's good but he's not elite. Wonder where he will play as well. Semenyo and Doku are surely the starters out wide.
He'll be a bench player replacing Marmoush, hes not starting over Doku and Semenyo. I still think its strange for City to sign him though as you'd normally want an impact player coming off the bench not someone who scores and assists a drastic amount less than the player he's replacing. Injury cover you have to use what you have so he'll work as a body.
