wants Amber Rudd to call him a naughty boy
interesting, have the masses found their new xG?
it is telling the top 3 have been heavily involved in set pieces this season as well.
Is this meant to sound quite as rude as it does?

It genuinely seems more interesting in fairness, I am just soured by people quoting stats these days without understanding them

There’s no guarantees that Ndiaye would succeed with us though… so he could be an expensive flop. Where as whatever happens with Lacey we can only gain from as he’s one of our own players. I’m a big believer of creating a superstar like we did with Ronaldo. We need a winger who can play an important role in the season. Lacey is a bit of a punt for that, and Ndaiye is a terrific player.
There's no guarantee with any player. We might as well stop buying players? There’s no guarantees that Ndiaye would succeed with us though… so he could be an expensive flop. By this logic… we should also stop giving pathways to young players aswell ye? We probably won’t have the funds for Ndiaye anyway unless we sell players. We’re going to be focusing on a midfield overhaul before anything els. There's no guarantee with any player. We might as well stop buying players?
I dont get the logic really. Ronaldo type signings are a moon shot, and Ndiaye is a very very good player showing in the Premier League already. Hel elevate any team he joins.
No, my logic is clear. We buy players who are ready to start if we don't have academy players that can. And this gives them the protection and time to grow with minutes here and there, rather than risk a situation where they're put in the limelight too early and not ready, be technically physically or mentally.By this logic… we should also stop giving pathways to young players aswell ye? That’s not true. I obviously love signing quality players that will improve us but I also want to see more chances given to the likes of Lacey and that won’t happen when we have 2/3 players in the same position as him. Look at Liverpool and Arsenal giving the likes of Rio who is only 17 and dowman who is only 16 a chance to shine. Lacey came on in a couple of games for us and looked like the best player after like a 15 min cameo. Look we need to sign quality to improve us but there needs to be a balance within signing and promoting. No, my logic is clear. You however seem to be against signing such players just because you want to punt on Lacey, which doesn't make sense.
Rio is a huge talent and looks ready, but even then they aren't ideally paying him more than we would want a LW target play. I think Rio is probably ahead of Lacey, it's just a big shout to suggest an academy player when wel be playing a lot of games and only have on real left wing option going into the season. That’s not true. Leipzig have quoted us £100m for Diomande. Can’t see Everton demanding anywhere near as much. Why do you think he would be significantly cheaper?
I completely understand the sentiment here as its perfectly reasonable, and it matches up emotionally as well since the club has the history of youth talent coming through etc etc. And, its just special when a young lad comes through. That’s not true. I would hope not. I know there loads of areas of need right now but I would be very very happy if we signed him.Leipzig have quoted us £100m for Diomande. Can’t see Everton demanding anywhere near as much.
Agree completely. His playing style is possibly more comparable to a Riyad Mahrez. Not blessed for pace, but huge potential to unlock defences.I would hope not. I know there loads of areas of need right now but I would be very very happy if we signed him.
I try to not care too much or place too much importance on fees, but I often forget and do it anyway of course.... But, I would be over the moon if we got him for 50-60.
If we start talking 70-80 then the expectations start going up, the twitter dorks start warming up the week two posts calling him a fraud, etc. And if Everton start talking 90 then I hope we walk away.
But, I see him as a wonderful addition for breaking down a low block. He doesn't have the sprinters pace I don't think, but he is very quick and very shifty. I see it as Eden Hazard-like. Almost. Maybe. I don't know thats just what I see when I watch him play.
He would definitely need to find some end product, but that could come from playing with Sesko as a striker partner instead of Beto. I don't see him a traditional flying winger, that tracks back constantly or something, but more of a free-ish talent that can get on the ball in the final third and cause chaos to a low block by being able to take people on the dribble.
