The day started with unprecedented efforts by Kolkata Police to ensure that Modi’s route from the airport to the city was barricaded and closed to protestors. In the end, even that failed, and Modi had to take a helicopter to travel the 16 kilometre distance. Later in the day, the prime minister took the boat down the river Hooghly to visit the Ramakrishna Mission in Belur, thus making sure to avoid protestors again.

Why Bangalore? I had lived in most metros in India including little part of my life in Bangalore peak hour traffic. For the last half my life, been a Londoner though.
Two things blinds the masses of TN.
1. Love for Tamil (especially when Hindi comes into the equation)
2. Film star craze
I dont think any state in South India has that issue. All South Indian state people are proud Indians.
TN people will never ask for Independence.... until the key for chaos, ’language issue’ is touched. Then the hell will break loose.

And, you tell. Considering you were suggesting majority of Tamil Nadu people will ask for independence or could be very upset because Beef is banned.
It's like asking what about eating chicken. Means nothing in TN where you can get beef and eat peacefully.
It is seen as a poor man's or drunkards(
) meat food though. As most don't eat due to religious belief and view Cow/Bull as a pet animal, beef has less takers and hence it is the cheapest meat costing much less than chicken (not sure about now, price might have gone up in recent years). Almost all non vegetarian Hindu families dont cook beef at home. Those who want to eat, can get it in fast food shops.BTW, Where are you from? Why this much curiosity in linking beef with TN?
