France - can't win anything with Swedish turnips
Oil revenues fell off a cliff after 2014 and trade with the EU is a fraction (1/3) of trade with the rest of the UK. And that's before we get to budget deficits and national debt. And using the pound.

Trying to be an independent nation while grovelling to join the EU on the one hand and using a currency thats issued and controlled by a different country on the other. Just idiotic.
As far as I'm aware Scotland is the only one of the four UK countries that export more than they import. Also they would use the Euro probably, you don't necessarily need to already be in the EU to do so. Kosovo already use it and that was before they received candidate status recently. Also Scotland having just left the EU less than two years ago would meet most of the requirements necessary before all the standards and everything is trashed by Westminster. The longer they leave it the harder it will get.

As with NI the trade will open up to rest of Europe instead of being limited to where Westminster lead them. It will adapt.

Difficult decision but what is there to look forward to sticking with Westminster.

 grovelling to be in the largest trading bloc in the world is idiotic and staying with Bojo and the fascists isnt.... fecking dead on ye genius. Also as the NI economy has shown trade with the UK means feck all as other markets will open up. As for Scotlands North Sea oil revenues the cost at the pump should tell you that that will be going up drastically.

Scotland is better off looking after itself and getting away from the pish thats Westminster grow a fecking set of balls and look after yourselves!!
Dont think you understand how the fuel economy works but ok. In 2014 the SNP made it clear in their own white paper that economic outlook depended entirely on oil revenues staying at their record high levels around 2012-13. And they didn't, instead they collapsed. And they won't get up anywhere close to those levels again.

Scotland will be looking after itself after a £36bn 24% of GDP budget deficit last year, sounds grand. I'm sure the EU will be thrilled at the prospect of another economic basket case in the bloc.
