Infantinos greed is already revolting. Where are the Thunderbirds when you need them to deal with the hood?
 
FIFA really needs gutting. That or some other governing body to take over.
 
Can we not just put him in a rocket and fire him into the sun? Surely someone would fund that.

Not even close, the most high profile sure. In third-world countries, systemic corruption ensures that sports funding rarely reaches the athletes or facilities who need it. There was one in which funding marked for para-athletes quietly disappeared into upgrading exclusive sports facilities inside elite residential complexes for government bureaucrats. I am digressing though so please no one reply to the comment.

Trump's advisors probably told Infantino he was a fool to try hiding corruption. Rich people own their corruption and convince people this is good for them.
 
Why is the rage focused on one person? Infantino did not simply open the door and walk in to become FIFA President. He was elected to carry out this agenda by Federations, whose unwavering support has made it impossible to challenge him for the position. He's promoting the ideas that helped him get where he is.

Infantino has Trump's backing. Which means the US will step in with diplomatic pressure to back Infantino. Except European countries, almost rest of the world will comply.

The fact that the head of FIFA can effectively bribe enough federations to ensure he remains in place whatever he does is reason enough to kill FIFA. It can't be fixed because the only way he gets replaced is by someone else promising even larger bribes to enough smaller nations.
 
UEFA needs to leave FIFA. Anything else won’t achieve anything.
But they obviously won’t.
 
UEFA need to flex their muscles here. If they kick up a serious fuss, this won't go ahead.

FIFA needs UEFA more I think. The World Cup is worthless without them. The European equivalent however does not rely on FIFA.
 
I don't see how UEFA need FIFA in any way.
If the European nations and clubs hold strong then UEFA could go their own way.

Personally I'd rather both organisations were replaced with something more fit for purpose, but it's clear which one is worse.

If South America countries would join UEFA on threatening to leave, that would basically be the end of Infantino and this large-scale corruption. Who would watch a World Cup without UEFA and Conmebol countries?

I think UEFA itself leaving will probably be the end of FIFA in the current form.

Yes I think so too.
You would soon get the likes of Argentina and Brazil complaining.
FIFA can replace Europe with countries from the Pacific.
