Ravel Morrision and Tom Thorpe both started for England U18's on Tuesday night. England won 3-0 and neither player was heavily involved with anything of interest from what I can tell from the match report.

John Cofie was also in the squad, but pulled out, presumeably with injury.

A substandard bag of meat and bones.
McNair looked quite an intelligent player, with good dribbling ability and an eye for a pass. He's extremely lightweight so i'm pretty sure he must be still underage for this level.
He had nice balance and touch, but NI didn't really use him enough, going long far too often.

Paddy John's nipper had an absolute stormer in goal though, NI should have been on the end of a rout.

The Victory Shield is for U16s, right? McNair was still 13 a year and a half ago.

Tunnicliffe's pulled out of the u19 squad with an injury, leaving Thorpe and Will Keane to defend United's honor.

Tyler Blackett played the full 90 for England u17s v Romania in the first of 3 Algarve Cup matches. Finished 1-1. England's remaining fixtures are v the krauts today and Portugal on Sunday. Luke Hendrie was in the original squad but withdrew.

Ruud ftw
Heard he was at left-back, but he's played often enough in midfield that it wouldn't be too much of a surprise.

Seems to have been on wing duty in the 2-2 draw against Portugal, as he came on for Henshall.

Quite suprising, Josh King has been left out of the Norway U21 yet again...
He is good enough to train with the senior United-team, and to be on the bench, but not good enough to be in the U21 squad for Norway?! Magnus by the way have been in both squads after returning to Norway and Molde, after been overlooked basicly the whole time while being at United.

This means we can tell Norway to feck right off when he's a first team regular here and they want him to play silly friendlies, right?

Don't think he's had a touch in the 10 mins or so I've seen.

Yeah, Rothwell looks pretty useful. Did the commentator say Wilson just turned 15?

2-0 England.. That was bizarre positioning from the Irish GK.. wasn't he basically just standing behind the wall so he couldn't even see the ball?

Nice late run into the box, although the keeper probably should have saved it. Is it Rothwell who captains the United u-16's?
