Not weirdin the senses they always wait for the player to touch the ball to call the offsides so maybe if an opponent touches the ball before said player, then it's on ?
It's got to be a controlled pass, there's no way they can consider that to be the defender playing the ball.

Need to see the lines, I've no idea how that's onside

This performance by Pogba! Can't play in a pivot my arse!

Get him a Midfielder to play beside for the love of God.

Look at that block in his own box as well. The leader of this France team.

Pogba is unbelievable at his best.

Even making blocks in his own penalty area.

It was not, as it was previously said Garcia touches the ball and put Mbappé back onside.
Has to be a deliberate pass to him. VAR don't know the laws of the game...

People wonder why VAR doesn't work in the premier league?

Penny for Werner's thoughts ?

Did they disable the offside rule or have I missed a rule change. Hardly a new situation created by that touch?

No, he has to deliberately play the ball. That isn't the same as deliberately passing the ball. The decision was the correct one.

Well it's never going to be a deliberate pass to an opposing player.

I'd have to see it again but did it just deflect off him?

Almost want Spain to get an equaliser to cancel out that offside goal, even though I'd prefer a win for France.

I swear the English do not know how to use VAR. That has to be offside - touch or no touch by Garcia
