What's the point of this again? And with the World Cup in 2 months?

Euro qualifiers (nations league route). Also pre-world cup friendlies. Normally there are 3 breaks between September and November, so just the 1 is fine..

No Sancho but Maguire gets the call.

Pickford is injured before people come in with the “Pickford dropped”.

Maguire and Shaw making the squad but Sancho not  can the Southgate hell be over soon please.
Yeah quick as possible because some players just aren't getting a single chance under him. Look how long it took for Tomori to even make a squad. He certainly won't be a starter even if he makes final 23.

Its good to see Shaw and Maguire called up. Get some games in their legs. Keep them fit in case Malacia or Martinez need a rest.

Yeah not to mention his complete lack of innovativeness and general reactive nature rather than proactive
Yup. As we should have expected from his pre-managerial England career. His ceiling has been obvious for years.

Sancho gets another couple of weeks under ETH instead of spending time on the bench for this dinosaur.

Southgate is a clown as manager so nothing new there. England's overall squad quality and piss easy fixtures masking that he is in fact just a shit manager. National team Ole.

and one of the things he said when he initially got the job was he would play people who are on form, and stay away from sticking with players just because.
Southgate is the reason England wont do well this world cup.

Its quite funny when Sancho was not playing well, he was quick to drop him but when others do the same, they get picked.

Grealish was in top form prior to the Euros but he didnt play him, now he is hardly playing and in poor form, gets picked.

Shaw, Maguire, Philips do not play for their clubs but are in the squad.

We've just reached that stage every England manager gets to. No risks, sticking with what he knows, no outside the box selections. Shite safe football that ultimately will fail.

I hate we're wasting another world cup on this fella.

Biggest one for me is Eze from Palace.

In great form but no call up?

Think Rashford would have been in but for the injury.

I mean no, you don't always have to go to the most negative extreme. You're so doom and gloom
So who is going to take over then, will remain that way until we have new owners, address issues in Utd first XI and FA quit appointing yes men managers.
