Is Salah Finished? | Leaving at the end of the season... so yes.

He was awful tonight. Physically done and not able to do it in the Premier League.

We'll sell him to a Saudi club in the summer.

Nice to see another club stuck with an ageing player on huge wages.

However, as others have said, he's gone in the summer to Saudi, and probably for a decent fee too, which is annoying.
Would be shocked if they got more than thirty million for him

He was the one keeping Liverpool at the very top, pulling goals and assists out of nowhere. Since he's declined they've been utterly rubbish.

As bad as he has been, I guess he will still be a ‘loss’, based on his experience and ability to score goals.

He will be expensive to replace.
Good job we got Mbeumo before they were on the hunt for a right winger.

I mean, is a deal agreed then? Because surely they aren't letting him go for free?

No wonder he's not been bothered if that's the case.

Gits will probably still get 80m+ from Saudi for him, despite his age/this season's form etc

Shame. Needed him in that team longer. Very little running, output or leadership. Very big ego, salary and drama.

Rather Slot confirmed he was leaving at the end of the season (or sooner) than this.

Good. Clear off.

Sick and tired of him tormenting us over the years. About time he finally fecked off.

Should have gone out on a huge high last season and taken the Saudi dime when they would have thought he was still on top of his game.

So that´s TAA and now Mo, two darlings of the Kop, who will both leave Anfield for next to nothing.

Is there a chance as well that Mac Allister could be leaving this summer for Real? They would get a decent sum for that sale, tbf.

I don't see how Liverpool can expect to receive more than a nominal transfer fee when they've announced to the world that he's leaving. Just getting his huge wages off the books will be a win.

It's like our bomb squad logic last year. But the player in the bomb squad is 34 and has spent the last 12 months showing that his body can't hack it in the top leagues anymore.

No they won’t, this is a cancel contract situation. He’s on £450k a week, isn’t he? That’s the salary of 2 top drawer players. They’ll just be glad to be off the hook for that.

My head wishes he’d stick around whilst costing them a fortune and causing problems, but my heart just feels relief haha.

This is the best bit of business Liverpool can do this summer as an FYI.

He's old now, past his peak, can't play a full season and his shadow looms over all the other forwards. You can't evolve tactically at this point. It'll give the forwards more room I think and the new group can form bonds.

We had the same after Keane left, we've had it multiple times as a club after Cantona for example all in their peak but you can move forward as a club.

I feel like this will solve some of Liverpools problems.

Salah seems like a likeable chap off the field. Good luck to him

We’ve yet to replace him
