Is Salah Finished? | Leaving at the end of the season... so yes.

Salah should be left out of the squad for this next week.. How the hell can he claim he wants the best for the club, and at the same time deliberately drop a bomb in the final week of the season with a very very crucial game coming up...

Doesnt he need only 1 assist in his final game to break Steve Gerrards record?

Never really took Salah for such a sneak before this Slot saga. Clearly think he is bigger than the manager. While that might be true, he shouldn’t be making it so obvious that he is against him.

It's really poor behaviour to publicly take digs at your boss on social media. Footballers only do it because they're safe behind their contract, but it still shows them up for being shitty people

Interesting situation to put Slot and the club in for his last 2 games. In a normal situation, he would be pulled out of the team. However, there is no way that happens now when all the fans will come in to say farewell to their hero. Completely undermines Slot. Absolutely love it

Edit: To top it off, Alonso close to being confirmed as Chelsea manager. Not many obvious options for Liverpool executives in case they decide to sack Slot.

Check his twitter page. He’s knifed Slot. There’s no other interpretation.
Then let’s see if Slot is tough enough to leave him out of his last game at Anfield. If he wants to have a chance at taking back control he’ll have to.

And yet he's been backed by most of the squad publically. A few of the youngsters he pushed out also liked it. As I said in the Slot thread before, he's clearly lost the dressing room.

Jones and Robbo also posted messages saying the season hasn't been good enough today, it's not just Mo, his is just more pointed with the heavy metal football mention.

Disgusting from Salah. Pretty much identical to what Ronaldo did to ETH. Hopefully Slott omits him from the final match day squad.

Saying the season isn’t good enough is not the same as what Salah has done here. You know this.

I know it's not professional but if what Salah's done puts enough pressure on their board to sack Slot, it'll be worth it in the long run for Liverpool.

Slot can’t leave him out. It’s a damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t situation. It’s fecked.

The Liveroool players seem to talk a lot of about standards. Footballers are so not self aware.

He can leave him out and bring him on for 10 mins at the end. That solves all the problems.

He’s always been a cnut. He was arguing with Klopp just before coming on as a sub a few years back.

Ireola would be the obvious one of whats available i would imagine but I don't think liverpool want to change the manager

I just love the sly digs between them.

I expect nothing less from the egyptian midget. Same person whom during covid where all the players were asked to follow strict covid protocol in order to not catch and transmit the virus to the rest of the league, was filmed dancing in the crowd for his family wedding with no mask at all. Egoistic prick.

What a scumbag Salah is. I notice his statement failed to mention how f**king septic he's been all season, funny that.

On Arne Slot: "He is very honest. The Dutch are quite tough but he made our lives easier. I am glad that we have won it here [at Anfield]."

On playing a different role under Slot: "You can see the numbers. Now I don't have to defend much. The tactics are quite different. I said 'as long as you rest me defensively I will provide offensively', so I am glad that I did.

"He listened a lot and you can see the numbers.

"When you play in the Premier League you have to defend but I said that I can gamble and somehow I can make a difference. My number of assists shows that, you can create chances as well."

So baldy freed him from defensive role likely because he's ancient and now he is turning back against baldy when he's about to feck off from the club. Freed from defensive duty and now he is talking about heavy metal football?? You cant even press anymore you midget man.

Slot also kept playing him ahead of Chiesa when he was crap and Chiesa was actually a better option. No self reflection at all. No shame at all.

They echo my thoughts.
What Salah is trying to do is take Slot down with him, with no consideration for the club. It’s extremely selfish and Liverpool fans are blinded by their dislike for Slot.
If I was a Liverpool fan, I’d be unhappy with Salah.

He's leaving anyway. If he's trying to take Slot down, good on him, it's more than the shite executives are doing in consideration for the club.

Like Adisa said, you're leaving your dislike of Slot cloud your judgement. No player should be doing this, its incredibly disrespectful and disruptive when you still have a huge game to play.

How's it "good on him"? It's an incredibly unprofessional and shitty thing to do to someone you work with, nevermind the fact it's his own boss. Not being a good enough manager doesn't give employees free reign to belittle and disrespect the bloke

Over 15 of the players have supported it, with recent leavers chipping in.

I have a bridge to sell you if you think this wasn't planned by the players. No coincidence a player leaving takes the brunt, while two others leaving (assuming Jones is) also post criticisms of the clubs season.

Wait this can't be true?

Ive had a number of people tell me that Arne Slot made no difference to Liverpool's title win last season and it was the ghost of Klopp that inspired them to victory!

You're talking about a manager who has been consistently making petty insults about the players all season. Respect goes both ways, he's dug out the players ranging from key ones like Mo to randomers like Ramsey.

You can argue Mo is self serving if you like, but Arne is no saint.

Regardless of whether Slot or Mo is in the right/wrong here.. Its extremely bad for the club and dressing room to create this kind of fuss in the prior to a very crucial game in making CL or not..

Yeah possibly valid. It's a good thing we can't drop any lower than we have been though.

With any luck results will go our way before Sunday as I don't have any faith in us beating Brentford with or without this event.

Slot should leave Salah out of squad for last game. This was pure envy post from Salah.

And the most delusional part is this; Salah is the first in that team who can't play that "heavy metal football" anymore.

Easier for him to believe that Slot ruined his final season, than to accept that he is done.

Absolutely bizarre to do this before their final game of the season, but Slot absolutely cannot leave him out in the final game. The Anfield crowd would never forgive him. They are an emotional fanbase and he would not recover from it. Not even in terms of his legacy.
