Hard to compare, as Ødegaard was a freak. He ran the show at that age, same energy as the Ronaldo sub in his debut against Bolton.

Can't insert videos, but here's a link to one of Ødegaard shredding the league at 15.

Doesn’t sound ‘hard to compare’ then - by your description, you seem to be saying Odegaard was a level above?

Ødegaard was player of the season in the top division at 15. Hansen-Aarøen is a sub for a team in the second highest division.

That doesnt mean Hansen-Aarøen is bad, Ødegaard was an absolute freak at the same age.

So in response to the question of ‘how does he compare to Odegaard at the same age?’ - the answer doesn’t seem like ‘well, it’s hard to say’ surely?

Fair point. It would be better to say that it's an unfair comparison, because no (Norwegian) player have ever been close to that level at that age. Odegaard were never dependent on his physical attributes so he looked mature way beyond his years coming thru.

Also, I haven't seen enough of Hansen-Aarøen to make it a fair comparison. But with the small sample available I would definitely say that Odegaard was levels above, but that doesn't mean anything as Hansen-Aarøen's ceiling might be just as high.

What has Odegaard proved till now? Lots of loans but still not been able to break into Reals first team. Lots of players have looked great at youth level but have not gone on and others haven't been brilliant at youth level but make the greade. You cane never tell

Got in the Eredivise team of the season at the age of 20. Got in the La Liga team of the season at the age of 21. Took his team to the Copa del Rey final, beating and scoring against Real Madrid in the process (won't get to play the final because his loan has ended).

So yeah, he has proved quite a fair bit for a 21 year old.

La Liga player of the month, La Liga revelation team of the season, Eredivisie player of the month and Eredivisie team of the season aren’t youth level.

he is now almost 22 and still cant get a permanent place at Real. Looks good playing at a lower level. Was good at Hereveen but didn't set the eerdedivise alight the same way as VD Vaart or Sneijder did at the same age. Am curious to see how far he gets

Well, not being better than Kroos and Modric at the age of 21 is not really a stick to beat anyone with. It will be much clearer were he stands in relation to the Madrid first team after the next season, which will be his first with the first team.

Anyhow, remember that the perspective of success is from a Norwegian point of view. We don't have much to compare with. I do find it weird that you mention his time in Heerenveen and not his season at Vitesse, where he was picked out for ToTS.

And when mentioning youth and potential, Sneijder is probably not the best example to bring up after his latest remarks on his training when he was in Madrid.

Is this a a thread about Martin Odegaard or Isak Aaroen... cmon guys!

In more relevant news, looks like Isak's saying his goodbye's to his family and friends today, should be training with his new teammates real soon.

It's great to see long-term scouting and then signing of very talented young teenagers. He'll no doubt give it his all with us.
We seem to be doing alright in that dept. Just a shame we will have to wait a couple of seasons to see their debut, though Hannibal could get a look in if he progresses like he has.

He stalled for a couple of years but last 2 seasons have been great, Can we get him ?

That. The sounds she's making. The eyes. The amateur quality of the video.

It's a very nice video and i hope to find her making more noises.
I doubt you'd get any woman as naturally gorgeous as her in Salford.

More like some skank to suck you off for a fiver by a lock up garage

You really need to get better-looking women to the UK if this is the case

Isak, however, is a smooth looking guy. Reminds me of Mats Daehli. That went well...
