Isn't it great to be back in the Champions League?

It is great, I cheered everyone of our 5 goals on Wednesday way more vehemently than any I recall doing in the EL last season

It goes without saying but it’s so important to qualify for next season’s tournament, it would be only the 2nd time post SAF we’d of managed it in back to back seasons if we were (and the one time we did do it post SAF the first of the two qualifying campaigns was due to a EL win)

Post SAF we’ve been

13/14 - UCL thanks to SAF the season before
14/15 - N/A
15/16 - UCL (knocked out at the group stage into the EL)
16/17 - EL
17/18 - UCL
18/19 - UCL
19/20 - EL
20/21 - UCL

Feels like we’ve been away from the UCL way longer than it actually is, I guess that 2nd season under LVG which had us drop into the EL is a contributing factor to the feeling of us being in the EL more often than the UCL. Spare a thought for Arsenal, who were once mocked for their 4th place trophy

13/14 - UCL
14/15 - UCL
15/16 - UCL
16/17 - UCL
17/18 - EL
18/19 - EL
19/20 - EL
20/21 - EL

Staring down the barrel of a 5th straight season out of the UCL if they don’t qualify this season
