Crotone 1-1 Juve, Juve 1-1 Verona and today Benevento 1-1 Juve. Yet another 1-1 draw for Juve without Ronaldo in an easy game.

Plus they were drawing 1-1 with Spezia until the 60th minute when he came on, got completely outclassed by Barca at home and threw away the lead against Lazio when he got subbed off.

How they thought it was a good idea to rest him today is beyond me. He better be on fire for the rest of the season or Juve aren't winning anything

Without Ronaldo this Juventus team is hopeless. I loss count on how many easy points they loss this season whenever Ronaldo is not playing.

Yeah Atalanta lost their mojo
They don't have the squad to deal with this crazy schedule. Especially with their intense style of play and tough games in Europe.

There's still some games where they look great like the win at Anfield or the 4-1 win at Lazio but they can't keep playing like that every 3 days.

It's not just game congestion. They're not as ruthless as they were in the past 2 seasons.
Ilicic missed a great chance in the 1st half. Then they had a 3min spell in the 2nd half where they wasted 2-3 decent chances while Verona countered - hit the crossbar, close range header missed and a pen won.

I had a post written saying exactly this and I have no idea why I didn't press the post button,

But yeah. It makes no sense in my mind to rest him now. Wasn't the covid break enough? Can't he rest in the coppa italia? I'm all for him resting but now when it's clear this team needs him so much I just can't comprehend these decisions.

Why not on the bench even?

Oh well.

Maybe Juve put all their eggs on CL. Not like us, they don't lack the League titles in recent years.

Benevento are on 10 points so far.
Last time they were in Serie A (2017/18) it took them 25 games to reach that tally

Atalanta's problem is Gasperini's insistence on starting Ilicic. He has been their worst player all season, and is neither fit physically or mentally.

Serie A stats:
4 matches with Ilicic as a starter:
1 draw, 3 losses

5 matches without Ilicic starting (came off the bench in 1, did not play in other 4):
4 wins, 1 draw

To be fair though, Atalanta under Gasperini has always been a sort of winter/spring bloomer

Public Prosecutor at the Court of Perugia
PRESS RELEASE
Today, by delegation of this Public Prosecutor's Office, members of the Economic-Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Perugia have executed an order for the application of the precautionary measure of suspension, for eight months, from the exercise of public office for Rector Prof. Giuliana GRECO, General Director dott. Simone OLIVIERI, Prof. Stefania SPINA and for the member of the "Celi Immigrati" commission, prof. Lorenzo ROCCA of the University for Foreigners of Perugia, for the final offenses of disclosure of office secrecy to undue financial gain and multiple falsehoods in public documents.
After the searches and seizures of 22 September 2020, the investigations - carried on without interruption and in strict compliance with the principle of confidentiality - have significantly corroborated the evidential framework that had already been outlined in relation to the organization, by the suspects, during a session set up ad personam, of a "farce" exam, which allowed the release of the certificate of knowledge of the Italian language type "B1" to the well-known Uruguayan footballer Luis Alberto SUAREZ DIAZ, an indispensable requirement for obtaining of citizenship.
In particular, it emerged that the contents of the test had been previously communicated to the player himself, coming to predetermine the outcome and the exam score, to correspond to the requests that had been made by Juventus, with the aim of achieving a positive return of terms of image, both personal and for the University.
The investigations also made it possible to understand how, in the first days of September 2020, the management of the Turin club had taken action, even at the highest institutional levels, to "accelerate" the recognition of Italian citizenship towards Suarez, thus making the hypothesis of new incriminations against persons other than those belonging to the university, which are currently being studied.
Sharing the accusatory hypotheses, the Judge for the preliminary investigations ordered the precautionary measures having noted "the concrete and current risk that the suspects, if not subjected to appropriate caution, re-propose criminal conduct similar to those for which it proceeds, having shown that consider the institution they belong to and which they represent as a res privata manageable at will."

Juve losing again to bottom 6 team (o.k it's a derby) and it dosen't seem to cause a near scandal on here anymore.

TBF I'm not watching either but 0 shots on target so far even though they're starting Ronaldo, Dybala and Kulusevski. Just had one now as I type.

Lose this and they could be 9 points off AC Milan by end of weekend.

No speed, no creativity attacking. Nothing. It's bonkers. Ronaldo seems the one trying to inject some speed and urgency now and again. Cuadrado as well but he lacks in other departments.

Juve have been so bad, 0 chances all half. Dybala went from winning Serie A MVP to looking like a semi-retired player, no idea what's happened.

They still should have had a penalty though, don't know how VAR didn't call that. Refs haven't been on their side this season

VAR now disallows a clean Juve goal after not calling an obvious penalty earlier

Juve finally score, Weston McKennie. Big last 10 minutes for their title hopes even this early I think.

That’s league season close to being dusted.

Juve have them selves to blame, they managed to get the worst possible option as coach of there team. If you were going to get Pirlo you might as well have kept sarri, you changed shit for shit.

AC Milan’s title to lose.

Pirlo's so out of his depth but Juve's squad is genuinely poor and they don't even have anyone they could sell well. Probably won't make it past first KO round in CL.

Juve show some heart at last

Truly horrible refereeing today, they've been getting consistently screwed this season

It's a team made up of average players(aside from 3-4 guys) that make up for it by being fitter and better coached then the competition. Who are now playing every 3 days, with no pre-season

Sampdoria vs. AC Milan has been a decent watch (better than Liverpool vs. Wolves, at least). Milan have been huffing and puffing, but Sampdoria held on for much of the half. However, there were a couple of moments that stuck out and basically defined that first half.

Heroic defending:

Milan still score:

The 2nd half has seen a similar flow to the match despite some tactical adjustments to both teams. AC Milan have allowed Tonali more freedom to roam and had their right winger come inside (forming a lopsided 4-4-2), whilst Sampdoria have started to push more of their players into the box (with Kessie keeping an eye on Thorsby's late runs into the box). Despite that, the match is still relatively close, and it can honestly go either way.
