Is never mentioned in conversation, but was one of my favourite and one of the best centre halves of his generation through the noughties. Had a unique style for a centre half, being only 5ft8 - but he was an excellent reader of the game and absolutely rapid. A real warrior too, one of those throwback bravehearted defenders from just before they started being judged on assists. He could play RB too, and was just an all-round brilliant defender.
