He epitomises a problem with many modern forwards: They'd rather go down and draw the foul than try to stay on their feet. It's the same with Neymar and several others. But most freekicks lead to absolutely nothing. Look at Eden Hazard when he was at his peak: He was so good at using his low centre of gravity to ward off tackles and keep the attack going, which created a much better goalscoring chance than a freekick would have. Winning a freekick is not an accomplishment, it's a consolation prize.

This is totally his problem, would rather go down and win a free kick than score a goal. He's end product is awful. 5 goals and 6 assists for a 100 million pound player is a terrible return.
Still think he’d have looked better and far more productive for us. Which isn’t saying much, his numbers are average at best.
