I dunno what happened in training this week but Ugarte is definitely out, Mainoo and Collyer are major doubts, and Amad is out for the season. So we're gonna end up seeing the whole academy promoted at this rate

I really used to enjoy those milk cup games. It’s where you get to see the next generation coming through first and some stepping up before the season starts. Wheatley does sound familiar for that time period too.
Your right in that he did show a lot for the ball and always seemed to be driving the team. I’m sure he even covered in central defence at one point. My only concern with some of his play at the time was that he maybe over ran the ball a bit. However he seems now to release it and dribble more constructively which is positive development or maybe I was being harsh then.
He seems well rounded and is developing nicely, hopefully he can continue in this vein and maybe get a loan next season or even go on the pre season tour.
His dribbling looks so effortless.
Pity he was injured for almost 18-20 months in between or else he'd have gotten his debut by now.
Where do we think is his best position once he is developed / ready for first team (at Utd or elsewhere)?
Looks like one of the number 10 positions in Amorim's system. He loves ball carriers.
I'm a bit disappointed that he's not really had a look in within the first team yet. Can't complain as others have been given little cameos here and there, but Moorhouse looks like he could be useful with his pace and dribbling.
Reminds me of Joe Rothwell. Always liked a central player that can run with the ball, very unique profile. Interested to see how it translates to men’s football.

Good team that Leyton Orient. Was very close to snatch the promotion last season (lost to Charton 0-1 on the play-off final). They have just signed former Carrington grad Demetri Mitchell this summer, and obviously Galbraith did very well for them before earning his Championship move.

Is he even getting a game there? If he isn't, it's crucial we recall (If possible) and send him to a lower standard where he is guaranteed minutes.
He was getting good minutes through August and September, he has been in and out of the squad since then, to be honest, League 1 is about where he is at right now and players need to be allowed to figure it out, game time isn't the only way players develop and it can be as much about developing resilience being more valuable to him in the long run than just being guaranteed game time regardless of performances in training etc.

Hes a quality prospect but he most likely won't be getting any minutes at fist team level given the lack of games left this season.

Yes, a strange one this one. He was playing regularly. Admittedly mostly as a sub, but still played most games. Surly that's much better than returning to u-21 football, as I can't see where he'll be fitting in the first team squad.

He’s a 10 who often even played LW at underage level. Leyton Orient tried playing him deeper at times but it didn’t work.
His only real good attribute is running with the ball at speed. His chance was last season when we completely lacked any sort of directness but there are simply much better options now.
Leyton Orient have cut the loan short as he was falling out of the side and have brought in new players like Dylan Levitt who can actually play midfield.
So in actual fact it was Leyton Orient's decision and not ours to bring him back? makes more sense

Yes they cut it short, or well said that his playing time would drop so we agreed to end it. Doing it at the very last minute is a bit of a dick move when apparently Moorhouse had offers from other clubs earlier in the window.
