Sancho has been pictured in London at a house party for rappers Krept and Konan. I think the lad has some growing up to do. It seems he is a party animal and those romours to do with his disciplinary issues may be right. He is without doubt a top talent but am concerned about his lifestyle. Dortmund are in preseason mode he should be focused on that really.
It all depends what he was doing at the house party, doesn’t it really?

Bait. Just to raise Utd's bid.
Not what i was intending to explain for the poster, he was asking about a source when I told him BBC got his salary wrong (they said he is on 190 k per week). Sancho is not on 190 k per week, he is on 100k per week.

That fridge jam guy needs to be banned for being such an anti-muppet downer. This actually seems to be happening

Whoever won the game
What does Sancho bring to the table that none of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood currently offer ?

If one of them gets injured,Lingard/Mata/Pereira won't be stinking up the pitch anymore. In addition to that, he is an excellent young talent who is putting up great numbers in a good league.

They probably ate some fondue, had soft drinks and played Trivial Pursuit. That's how young rappers party, right?
I mean, don’t get me wrong, if it was me at that party, I’d be knee deep in all sorts of bad things. But the younger generation by all accounts are getting a lot more sensible when it comes to things like alcohol consumption. There are good stats to show that they’re shunning the booze.

Based on this, I’d say Sancho’s xShots (of Absinthe) was 0 at Krept and Konan’s do.

Christ, the ego on these people. Do they really think people are waiting on them to explain their opinion on why Sancho might have been in London?

Some posters in this thread would say yes.

Opportunity to not play Daniel James, ability to rotate players without huge drop in quality and also around 20G and 20A per season

Then you should completely ignore what Rio used to get up to over his years with us including midseason.
Our record goalscorer was even more of a beast with the nightlife

Can only imagine the amount of handwringing and outrage from some fans over the private lives of footballers had social media existed in the 80's and 90's along with everyone having a camera

Indeed and the bias is clear. When it's about his shitty opinions or news that I bet he's not even sure himself, he said it as if it's happened for real. But when it comes into Sancho in London? "Don't know if that's true".

We must have agreed a fee surely? It’s now just about drawing up the contracts for the structure of it. If we haven’t agreed a fee what would they have to talk about all day every day for the last 5 days!
Apparently the contract with the player is agreed, the big thing is negotiating the payment structure with Dortmund.

Ffs I can't leave this thread alone, I'm completely hooked to this transfer

He’s more talented and has put up better numbers than all for the past two seasons.

When those guys aren’t playing the quality of our attack falls off a cliff.

Perfect balance of goals plus creativity. Only him and Messi have hit 15+ goals and 15+ assists in Europe. When you look at our forwards Martial is now a ST he doesn`t count Greenwood is super talented but his game outside scoring goals still needs refinement and his skill set long term will suit him more through the middle. Rashford probably the closest to Sancho attributes wise so having him and Sancho on opposite wings will make us deadly plus it also ensures we have solid depth because Dan James/Ighalo/Mata/Pereira is Championship depth.
Sancho has also been more consistent and has bigger experience in the CL than any of our attackers so likely to be a talisman ala Hazard to take us to the next level

having social lives is one thing, but jetting out to a house party in England amidst a pandemic, two days before their training camp is about to start ... he's an outstanding player, but that's a questionable and immature decision at the very least.

I would be complaining about his party if he was our player but in this case i'd dismiss it as a big feck you to Dortmund.

Having watched Sancho a lot, believe me he has attributes that none of the above have.

Firstly, playing right wing comes naturally to him. Rashford and Martial have always been very underwhelming when playing right wing for us on the few occasions they have. Greenwood is doing a great job there but will have the same issues we’ve had with Mata playing there over the years. Everyone knows now that Greenwood wants to come inside to get involved and get shots off. Rarely he will go down the outside as he’s not got that explosive acceleration that is normally attributed to a natural winger.

Sanchos close control dribbling at pace is a massive asset. The fact he can go around the outside of a defender and cross a ball in with his natural foot is an asset none of our players have right now.

Also, his decision making is one of the best I’ve seen for a winger. He simply does not panic and always picks out the right ball regardless if he’s running at pace or stood still.

His consistency with creating assists and scoring goals at the same time is something all of our 3 forwards have struggled with. They have a lot of purple patches but lack of consistency is what holds them back delivering the numbers Sancho does.

With Sancho, we will have 4 forwards with very unique qualities each having their own strengths. It will be a deadly forward line up.

Another near WC talent to share the load. He can cover the front 3 and AM with ease. Saves having burnout.

Remember the furore over such an ordinary player. He was built up as the new Vieria or some thing
Everyone should calm down, it was always going to take so long. My take on it is they're just finalising how the payment will be spread which in itself is a long drawn out process when you're talking over a hundred million smackers.

No it's not as simple as just saying pay the extra 10m, there's a thing called negotiation. If we just bow to any demand what happens next time we want a player? We get fleeced again.
How would you perform as a kidnapped player hmmm

Hes making excuses for why Dortmund are in the dominant position every single time. Posts like these highlight it.

McTominay is almost 4 years older too, stunning lack of maturity and lapse in judgement on the eve of the restart that...

Obviously not being serious haha. Truly don't care for what players do in their spare time as long as they're not getting into trouble honestly. I know I'd definitely be living it up if I had the money and access that these young footballers do

Theres a reply in that Jan tweet posted above saying you have to isolate if going between England and Sweden and Sweden is where Dortmund are off to?

Edit not that I see.

Dortmund are going to Switzerland. Would still expect them to have some internal restrictions in regards to isolation as part of their training protocol.

it's not about the means of transport, it's about traveling to another country to attend a party when your team is scheduled to go on training camp two days later. Completely unnecessary risk at a time where footballers have to be tested regularly and ought to avoid risks that could derail the team's schedule and so on.

same goes for McTominay, never saw that video.

I agree. I feel the same as you.

A lot of people make inconsistent character judgements on these players though, and it makes me uncomfortable. Especially when they have little to no information about what's happening.
