 Love it. He speaks just like a fan would, and knows the quality Sancho has. 20 million here or there would not break the club. This deal makes absolute sense and fans rightfully feel like we're missing a huge opportunity here.

I swear you go onto twitter to search for these negative tweets and then post them on here. It’s all i ever seen from you and the Pogba transfer thread few years ago :houllier:
He is either the weirdest united fan ever or actually a Liverpool fan in disguise or maybe he likes to reverse jinx these things. Talking about @ehsanul

Its off.Woodward has done it again.
Romano now backtracking, its looks like Woodward has messed up this deal and now looks highly unlikely we will buy Sancho now.
Utd will come up with excuses again, nothing new for Woodward.
I can't see this deal happening.Ed thought he can take Dortmund for the ride but he has messed up again.
We will bottle this deal for sure.I expect a brief anytime that we have pulled out from this deal.

Looks like its all over.
I think this saga is done its better if we close this thread. The Woodward handling of this saga showed again how incompetent we are with transfer dealings.
We are run by incompetent fools so what more can you expect.
Mate, you've been saying the same thing since beginning of August. We get the message. You believe its over. That's a lot of dedication to drill the point home.

Why hire an agent for negotiations then?

We can joke about United in the market, but they’d have walked away if Dortmund were saying the same things in private
What makes you think they have not walked away? Have you heard anything from Manchester United to back up your thinking that they have not walked away? All you hear on twitter is noise. Means nothing.

We can only negotiate with Sancho's entourage with permission from the club. Dortmund allowing us to negotiate personal terms with their own player shows they are open to selling at the right price

We'll cave in and give Dortmund what they want for Sancho on deadline day.

It's Woodward's MO to leave it late so fans will go crazy discussing will he sign or not during the transfer window and explode after we finally sign him.

He literally boasts about our social media presence in his reports.

Well I have an idea of the journalists who United have been known to brief. They’re still all saying United are trying

Have I heard anything directly from United? Obviously not.

Can we ban negative tweets/news?

We should be turning this thread into the greatest back slapping echo chamber on the World Wide Web.

We had Woodward’s ridiculous comments about doing stuff other clubs could only dream about, we also had a free pass at Sancho since every other club is supposedly skint. Yet we fail to sign him before the seasons starts, if at all, let’s keep a small disclaimer for optimism’s sake. Sancho would supposedly sign for United even though we’re not part of the elite clubs in the world right now.

What can I say, it’s a mess as usual. Hopefully this fuels as famous last words.

The reality is BvB wants to sell.

As I have said multiple times on this thread, they are the club most dependent on match day revenues in Europe.

Covid impacts them more than most other clubs.

This transfer will happen.
The stadium in Dortmund is big but the ticket prices are low. So they don’t depend more on ticket sales than other clubs. Plus, Dortmund was debt-free and had some reserves before Corona and supposedly has a low-interest credit line with their bank. So Dortmund definitely does not suffer more from Corona than other clubs. I would rather assume the opposite.
