Dont think so. He'll miss the Cup game this week.
mbappe is said to want to leave, who says Sancho wouldn't want to join ? did anyone think Zlatan or Neymar would have went there ?

torres is miles behind Sancho, and it aint ever stopped them before bringing in more players, records are there to be broken,

whos to say all those Chelsea options are going to work ?

if Sancho has a better season then last year there will be a bidding war, if you think 65m with a potential of it going up to 90m is the best BVB are going to get your deluded.
Zlatan has played for 9 different clubs as a pro player (Juve/Milan/Inter included) so...

Bollox the most they will get is what we offer this window. No way they get more next year.
They surely aren’t deluded enough to think they’ll get more next year considering what’s going on. Utter madness.

What were they expecting Dortmund to say?? Yes, as soon as a bid comes in, he'll be gone. We're waiting, come get him.

Dortmund aren't going to say anything different than they've been saying for the past month or so. It's ridiculous to think otherwise. What they tell the media and what they tell United will be two totally different things.

Oh, and Dortmund are kidding themselves if they think COVID will be behind us next year... it's around for a long time yet, and they know that.

Does Sancho have a EU passport? If not doesn't that greatly complicate a transfer to a Non-British team? Thus greatly lowering the market for him next summer. Outside of Untied who else wants him and could afford him? Chelsea and City are out. No one else in England could afford him.

This is the big thing to me. We wouldn't be still doing all this crap if in private we were hearing the same noises as they're making publicly.

It’s not been on all summer, we won’t pay the cash and they dont want to sell.

Why we haven’t got other players in is beyond me. I’m waiting for the ‘oh well we tried’ spin we’ll pull in the press.

Exactly. It'd be pointless in even progressing any further if Dortmund had told us flat out that he's not for sale.

We'd have moved on a long time ago. The fact is, Dortmund know COVID is going nowhere, and finances are going to be hit harder before things get better, so this could be the only decent time to sell.

Couple months ago I thought 108M was a fair price, COVID rates were looking better and fans might be back in grounds for October.

With this second wave going through Europe, i think 90M in total is a fair enough price from the club. If it gets rejected, BVB are holding out for more next summer.

They won’t get more, COVID is here to stay for this season at least and will send transfer fees the wrong way for BVB next summer.

If they can get the same that we offer now, it's a huge win for them though. Doesn't have to be more.

We're going to offer them the most they'll ever receive for him, if they really confident/silly enough to turn it down, good for them. But they won't. He's coming home.

United will offer them an offer that they know that they will refuse and that will give them the excuse why we haven't spent big this summer

At this point I've made peace with the fact we won't sign him.

we aren't going to do anything this year anyway as 1 signing was nowhere near enough, so not sure it really matters as Sancho won't be enough to make us title rivals.

I can deal with us not having the money, but trying to be smart, and put some lower bid 10-15 mln less than BvB are asking just to show who the boss is here is pretty risky when its about our main transfer target not having any other options on similar level. If we can go as high as 70 mln than its fine because we would need to put almost double of that to make it happen but if we can manage around 100 and then draw the line its hard to swallow cause it is irrational on so many levels. Especially when you think about many hundreds millions we wasted on wages and avarage players. 20 mln more for Sancho is nothing.

There are players that you draw that line and can have your Max valuation and then if selling club wants more you just give up, but Sancho is one of those special players that you need to do absolutety everything to get him. It does not change our image as a buying club and won't have any impact on our future dealings cause there won't be many players that selling club would know they have the best available option on the market without anyone even close to that level.

65 million upfront with achievable add-ons up to 90 million.
Dont think BVB will accept that.
Well, I'd heard that back in July, that BILD claimed that Dortmund had suggested a structured deal of an initial 70 million euros, with the remaining 50 million euros being paid over the next two years in two instalments of 30 million euros and 20 million euros.
If that's true, then it sounds to me that United are now simply agreeing the first two instalments, but haggling over the third.
It's very important to remember that United's figures are in GBP, so £65m is roughly €70m..

You’re about to see just how incompetent this board is when they not only fail to sign Sancho but fail to sign any winger between now and the window shutting.

They’ve had months of prep to sort this deal out and with just days left we aren’t suddenly dropping 100m on a player. It’s better for the club if we look active rather than saying the war chest is empty.

We might get Telles for 20m if we’re lucky, 2 players brought in for positions we aren’t even desperate for when looking at the right wing, striker and centre back positions.

Absolute mess.

I don't know. I read his whole thread. Didn't quite grasp all the numbers but it wasn't anywhere as bleak as I thought or hoped. Yes they will have losses but nothing crazy. They are actually fine, low wages to turnover ratio and not much debt.
Maybe I'm wrong.
They made an operating loss of over 80m, they rely on player sales to balance the books; Probably closer to 100m in 20/21

Looks like there going to sell a big player either in the next 10 days or before June 30th next summer.

I'm not saying United will get him. Good chance they won't.

But that means nothing to me. Doesn't make sense if they've told United that and United are still briefing that they're going to bid this week.

If I'm using my common sense, Sancho will need to go public in his desire to leave this week. Then Dortmund can say they had no desire to sell before the player asked to leave.

Who knows though. Let's see. Lots of twists this week I feel.

Today is the day my resolve has been tested finally.

I admire your collective effort to get so many pages with so little information.

At least the end is in sight now.

Ah, but on this occasion we haven't asked her out yet at all.

We've been giving her plenty of small talk, we've moved on to chat to the next girl that caught our eye to find out she's already taken or being chatted up by somebody else.

We've decided to turn up once again 10 minutes before the club closes in hope that she's desperate and has no better options.

Will we get lucky or will she wait until the next weekend?
I think it's more like she's in the pub with her current boyfriend and were creepily staring at her from across the bar. Then we'll start DMing her mates to ask if we have a chance with her, but we'll wait to ask her out the week before her wedding day.
