I feel like Chelsea didn't want him at all, but tried to see if they can get him for 25m transfer fee but on a very reduced wages, like 80k, which obviously Sancho rejected, so they are like whatever go back and here's 5m for United.

He was on 250k with UCL bonus but around 190k now without UCL so 190k versus 150k is not that much if you only have 1 year left on contract. Guess he isnt as huge "Chelsea fan" after all if that is the case.
Probably fair to say he is a huge "Sancho fan" and that is all there is too it. His entire career has been full of red flags and he will undoubtedly end up retired before he turns 30 as there are not going to be any clubs left willing to pay him what he wants or give him a long term contract. I don't see him being motivated to play for a lower salary.
