The financial talk is so boring. Having the obnoxious little scrote hanging around the training facilities next season with his terrible attitude would be far worse for the club than anything written on a balance sheet. The reality is that no club is going to pay the kind of wages he wants and a significant transfer fee for him. Just getting him gone is the priority, no matter the cost.

Is anyone surprised by the low ball fees Italian clubs make, only Barcelona are as tight when trying get a player.

Yes but that offer is taking the piss

Definitely want rid but that’s an absolutely horrendous offer. People can mention the wages all they want, you see absolute shitters going for double that amount. It’s absolutely mental.
Because literally nobody wants him, not even his own club. He's like toby from The Office (US)... not considered part of corporate nor his own branch.

An unwanted player on high wages who hasn't done anything in years and is also going into his final contract year? I'm not sure what people were expecting.
He scored in the Conference League final this year, a year after playing in the Champions League final. Done nothing for us, but he would be a useful player for many teams. It's just the wages that ruin everything and his stubbornness to budge on it.

Agree with this, just can’t see it happening with a year left on his deal. If he’s actually agreed to go permanently now, I’d take what we can and draw a line under it.

£8.6m guaranteed  add ons probably include a balon d’or clause as well ffs
Funny we don’t like getting low-balled but we are happy to try that ourselves.

Sancho is just being an obstructive twat that wants his salary all paid up for his last year or he ain’t doing shite…..and Juve know that

When's the last time we offered about a third of what's allegedly asked?

Yeah Sancho just needs to feck off. Alas, not sure when we’ve lowballed anyone by offering supposedly less then half their asking price - nothing springs to mind but I might be missing something? If anything, we’re renowned over-payers, which were hopefully trying to set right from here on in.

Seems a reasonable offer. I’m not sure why we expect more when the alternative is that he sits around for a year picking up £10m. Unless we can find someone else to offer more, we will have to accept it.

That offer is pitiful but we might have no choice. I think we are going to sell all of our misfits but other than Garnacho we are going to get very underwhelming fees. I don’t think any will go for more than £25m, with Garna about £40m

Juve must take the piss with that
On January 1st he can sign a pre contract with any foreign team and leave on a free next july. So he has 5 months of financial worth left as a transfer. Take what you can and get rid and move on. Liverpool and City both had fire sales when klopp and Guardiola arrived. Just get rid of the dead wood.

Make the guaranteed amount 15M Pounds from 10M and i think we will accept it. Since they are also offering 5M bonus.

We won't accept this offer and rightfully so, this is just to get us at the table.

If we accept this like people want us to and pay him his £5m, it means we've sold him for £3.6m guaranteed, as we dont know what the add ons are, which gives us a PSR loss of about £11m. Im glad some of here aren't involved at the club.

We should be sticking to our reported valuation of £25m, not €25m, if we're paying him his severance package.

Christ. How are you guys valuing Sancho? He's rubbish, got a shit attitude, demands mega wages.

He's not even worth 5mill. Just because we paid whatever it was for him doesn't mean he's still worth a lot.

8.6 mill, plus his wages off the books for the year is mega imo. Plus the 5mill we got off Chelsea. The "he's so shit we are going to pay you to take him back" money.

It’s getting to the point where we need to just cut our ties and accept low offers for Sancho and Rashford. We can’t have this circus ongoing into the new season. We have to move on from all of this and surely selling for a low figure is better than having all the negativity that surrounds them and paying their high wages.

But we do a stupidly low deal for Sancho and Rashford and then we show to everyone that we'll likely accept a stupidly low deal for Garnacho and Anthony.

I'd expect pennies for the first two but I'd be wanting 70m for Anthony and Garnacho.

Well we won't get that much for those 2 whatever you do.

Secondly if we get rid of Sancho and Rashford for cheep, then there is less pressure for us to get rid of Garnacho and Anthony. Right now with no sales we are at our most desperate.

What’s his book value? £17 million?
Can’t be above £14.6… it is probably a little bit lower…Closer to 10M… Usually you amortize a bit more over the first 3 years than the last years of the contract.

The entire signing fee was 73M. Over 5 years, it averages to14.6 per year

Considering that we don't seem to have any PSR issues, it's probably worth just selling him for whatever we can get, even if it's below book value, to help the cash situation and get his wages off the balance sheet.

fecking Juventus. You'd understand it if he was in his 30s but he's fecking 25. Clubs always seem to take the piss with bidding on our players. We'll probably/hopefully meet in the middle of both clubs valuations.

Wouldn't the 10m United got from his loans also reduce his book value?
