Jadon Sancho | Official: Loaned to Villa

No one is going to pay him 300k a week for that sort of work rate even if he leaves on a free.

Ironically in FC 25 Ultimate Team, you earn coins by playing matches. He must be very confused with this.

Neh he’s got what he wanted. Another year on full pay and can negotiate as a free agent end of the season.
He thinks clubs are going to lining up to sign him and seeing what a shit show he has been for 3 years now. Him and his entourage need a proper dose of reality!

Reading they are covering 80% of his wage. That is a crazy desperate move by Villa.
Even better for us potentially, according to the BBC report.

"United sources say Aston Villa will pay 80% of Sancho's wages, while there are easily achievable bonuses which should bring the total up to 100%."

80% it is then

With just over 1 hour to go, before the transfer window closes over most of Europe, it looks increasingly likely Sancho will be spending the season sat on his @rse collecting his huge pay cheque.
There’s still Turkey and Saudi though ?

Is it official yet? Also what's this about United extending his contract with the 1 year option to get him to go on loan? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Finally.

So how does it work - if we extend his deal until 2027, we put ourselves in best financial situation regarding PSR etc? But then do we just let him go to another club for peanuts next summer or try to get fee?

Villa fans must fecking hate us right now as we killed their CL chances on the last day of last season then they end up with Sancho and Lindelof as deadline day panic buys

Is there a clause where he has to start against us so we can clog the shite out of him for 90 mins

He’s out of contract next summer when his loan to Villa ends so we won’t receive a penny next summer and there’s no way on earth we activate the extra year as we know he’ll turn down every offer and just collect his obscene wages, the move to Villa pretty much ends our whole association with that cnut.

I’d love to know how much Villa gave us as a loan fee though ? Getting a loan fee and most likely 100% of his wages paid if the bonuses are easily achievable, just glad the whole thing is done and it’s hard to argue that Sancho isn’t our worst ever signing.

My Villa friends think Sancho is going to be good. Think Emery is going to be the one to make him recapture his Dortmund form, and that Rashford proves he will excel at Villa.

I wonder how long it will take them to think differently?

Not long. Can't even see him having a fast start either as he wont be close to game ready.

Maybe Emery will perform his magic on him, I doubt it, but you never know.

If we're effectively getting his wages covered in full, then that's something like 14m shaved off our outgoings. It's pretty much realistic best case scenario.

Not our problem anymore.

Let’s hope Villa can’t send him back in January!

If he wasn’t on the ridiculous wage, we could have threatened to extend his contract and got a fee for him.

The reality is he seemed to have some decent options this summer. If he has an OK season, he'll be even more attractive on a free.
