Jadon Sancho | Official: Loaned to Villa

Why would we do this though? Surely the higher ups at the club must be sick of the sight of him and just want him gone for good ASAP.
And pay him £15m for no reason? Why? Let the nightmare end already.
A transfer fee north of 15mil makes economical sense. Or even a smaller loan fee where wages are covered, is more money for United.

However it might be too much hassle with him.

We had 3 months to shift him and barely did on the last day. What makes you think next year is going to be different? It’s not like we didn’t have offers this summer btw. The cnut rejected every single one of them.

Hopefully Tyrone Mings stands on some interesting parts of him in training.

Too much hassle is not the right term. fecking stupid risk is.

Even if we had a club lined up that Sancho would want to go to, where is the incentive for him. He is unlikely to get what we are paying him elsewhere even considering he would be a free agent let alone if it was a sale. A club might risk it on a loan because thats done in one season. They wouldn't risk that much money on a permanent deal.

So now you have 3 outcomes. Sancho magically changes his attitude, takes a paycut and we make a few million quid. Sancho decides that he would happily go on loan again at our expense or if we are exceedingly lucky, at someone elses, either way we haven't make any money. Final option is that he just sits on the bench for another year and we lose another 15m or so.

We would be bonkers to do anything but let his contract expire and thank our lucky stars we didn't have him stinking out the place this year.

It’s what Woodward would’ve done to “protect his value”.

‘Do the opposite of Woodward’ is not a bad philosophy for us to be run by.

Put him in the reserves for the next 12 months and let him leave for free. At this level, you can’t take a year out, and expect a big singing on fee from a big club without actually playing some football. He’s going to get fat, rusty and will slow down very quickly.

I really don't think he will end up playing much for them at all.
If it ever gets confirmed, then I think it'll be similar to his loan with Dortmund and Chelsea. He'll do OK at best, but any positive that can be found will be highlighted by social and tabloid media to try and have digs at Man United.

Worst signing in the history of the club. Possibly the least likeable character to ever wear the shirt, and he leaves without even a shred of positive memory. Even his goal against Liverpool just makes me cringe that I ever celebrated anything the lazy cretin did. He is almost a caricature of a stupid, manchild modern footballer, and I can see his cringy Miami lifestyle Instagram from 365 days away. Let us never even glance at a player like this again.

So he apparently turned down a permanent move to villa so he can keep his options open next summer

I am genuinely perplexed as to what he thinks is on the table for him given the way he's conducted himself off the pitch and the performances he's displayed on it in recent years. A Premier League team (albeit one that may be in free fall for financial reasons) who was in the Champions League last season is as good as he can hope for, surely?

Agreed. You can tell that if he wasn't a rich 'footballer' he'd be one of those pricks living on the dole and causing as much trouble as possible just for the fun of it.

I think it's MLS for him to hang out with his missus. Though he maybe in for a shock at MLS wages.

he wants to quit, go phone it in in the states while acting like pretend rapper. I cant ever remember a player with less character than this guy.

Generally wish most players leaving the club well, but I hope he has a serious injury the day before his contract expires so he can't get that big free transfer signing on fee he wants.

An absolute waste of oxygen, never mind the waste of talent

Nah just best to forget he even exists, he is his own worst enemy and has already ruined his career.
