Jadon Sancho | Official Villain

I can finally post in this thread. Didn't want to jinx it and just had to bite my tongue until it was officially announced.

Thank feck he's out of our club...for now.

Good riddance.

Feck the contract extension option too.

Shocked that he decided to go and play football.

Hopefully that’s the end of his time here.

Talk about main character syndrome!

Thank goodness he's gone.

"Sancho has been playing at the highest level of the club game since he was a teenager, particularly impressing for Borussia Dortmund during his time in the Bundesliga."

Even the offical Villa statement knows the last 4 years he's been a waste of space.

Interviewer: Where was Donyell Malen today?

Unai Emery: Sancho.

I: Is the Dutchman still in your plans, even though he's fit and available?

UE: Jadon Sancho.

I: And what about the winner of the internal Mens v Womens squad EA Sports FC tournament?

UE: Jadon. Sancho.

Both him and Martinez have made the Villa fans quite grumpy with us.

Why would they do this to themselves? They can't be happy fans taking him on, surely? For the outlay, why not just try for Grealish?

As much as Sancho has it in him to still be something, he cannot be trusted.

I assume he's the best option they could get quickly after having been forced to sell Ramsey?
Edit - and by best, I mean in their minds.

    what a vote of confidence from his new club

I guess they see him as a squad player that they don't have to pay a transfer fee for but 80% of his wages must be huge for them to cover. very odd indeed
I think that still makes him their highest paid player. If they're not careful that'll cause squad disharmony, especially if he decides to Sancho them.

This is such a desperate move. I suppose if he plays well we execute the extra year and retain some sale value and if he doesn’t play well (no surprise) we just cut our losses?

What do you call a superpower that means you have x-ray vision but only in the French capital?

Paris sight

Kind of Aston Villa to turn into the new Inter Milan and start taking on some of our problems. Good riddance to a waste of everyone’s time.

Villa had a decent attack last season. They still could have got Asensio. The attack this season doesn’t seem as good and Watkins doesn’t appear to be firing. Think they will struggle, Sancho will do feck all.

Surely.... surely this means he's gone for good this time?!
What make you think that? We can’t get a permanent fee for him so it looks like loan after loan until he’s eventually available on a free

It's a season long loan though, isn't it? So by the time his loan is up, surely that means his contract here is going to be over as well so that he can leave on a free transfer, and we never have to speak of him again?

This is what I'm hoping unless the club has found some amazing way to feck this up and we end up stuck with him yet again...

He really doesn't look like a footballer to me. I reckon he'll absolutely balloon when he retires.
