Firstly its not a paycut, because 125k (say) at chelsea over 4 years would be worth double 1 year with us at 250k. Bearing in mind he might not be offered another contract anywhere of note - thats happened to better players than sancho. Secondly most players will take a bit of a paycut to play football , especially at another big club, quite possibly the only big club that will still have him.

This summer is the best time to loan Sancho. He will push himself 200% to earn his next big contract next summer. He will definitely play football next season, collect every single penny in his contract, and leave for free next summer. He will probably get a signing fee as well because he is available for free.

What I find what is how you can have a deal with an obligation to buy that doesn't involve the player agreeing terms when that deal is struck.
If he doesn't move somewhere in the summer, just isolate him, no locker in the dressing room, train on your own away from the rest of the squad. Spend the rest of the season in isolation.
