For me it qualifies as being stupid. I guess the difference between you and me is that you make it sound malicious and I just think he is an idiot who doesn't really get that.I think we are in agreement on almost every point, save for the part on “act like he refused to play”. I think it’s just semantics here.
We agree that he knows the criteria and minimum standard he is expected to show in training in order to play yes?
And he if knows that in order to play, he must meet that standards (e.g show up on time, put in effort, follow tactical instructions etc), and if he choose not to do it, does it qualify as refusing to play even if he doesn’t explicitly say it?
As you said in your post we can't be sure exactly what happened, so this is simply how I perceive what happened and how it was reported.
