The ability of minors are not of the greatest substance, I myself was incredible during younger years, averaged about 7 goals a game. Then as we got older and moved to a traditionally sized pitch, the rest caught up and my insufficient physique eventually showed.
Not sure if there's a connection but this blog about the US' first Barca academy youth mentions a "siiiiiiick Japanese striker" who was on trial as well in the u-11s....
