No doubt someone will tell us at some stage during the summer that Higuain and Benzema are much better than Chico and we should sell him to get one of them...It would be absolute insanity if we let him go. He now has 50 goals for us, how much did we get him for? Plus he's only 24 years old. If he is played regularly throughout the season, he'd get 20+ goals easily.
Wait, what? That's really impressive For some reason, I didn't think he was near that given how much he's played. It would be absolute insanity if we let him go. Not for me but it was another top class performance where everything came together for him. I'm glad he's getting the recognition for the hard work he's put in over these past few years. I knew even when he was struggling last season, he would come back stronger. What a transformation eh? Linking up play, incessantly looking for the ball, making good runs off his teammates and supplying a very good ball for Kagawa. Very pleased and I hope Moyes uses him more this upcoming season. what a playerAnyone else think this is the best you've ever seen him play?
Quite looking forward to the Confederations Cup cos I reckon Javier Hernandez is just getting started.Seemed more like the way he plays for Mexico.
Hernandez would fit into any sane managers plans. He's a dream player.I'm just hoping he'll fit into Moyes' plans, I can't think of a striker Moyes has managed who is like Hernandez.
There'll be loads, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
Yeah, bodes really well for him becoming a starter next seasonHis general play today was outstanding. Some of his link play was extremely classy and penetrative. Impressed.
Tony Pulis.Hernandez would fit into any sane managers plans. He's a dream player.
Jelevic? He was a goal scorer who's been fairly rubbish this season under MoyesI'm just hoping he'll fit into Moyes' plans, I can't think of a striker Moyes has managed who is like Hernandez.

There were also people worried he'd be just a poacher and that he'd always be a poacher He's shown with hard work and determination what you can achieve. Nothing I have seen of him has shocked me. I am simply pleased with his progress and am quite confident he will develop into a fine striker if he continues to be viewed as a valuable asset to this club. There were plenty of people worried that he was a one season wonder after last season, but he's shown this year he's not. Scored 20 goals in 45 games first season, 12 in 36 last season and now 18 in 36 this season, and the vast majority of those games were sub appearances. Great little player, and his attitude is brilliant. Gives his all and has never complained, and just seems genuinely thankful to be here. Scoring 18 goals as a 3rd choice striker, behind Rooney and Van Persie, is remarkable really.
He has the best goals per minute ratio in the history of the Premier League! I am delighted at how much his touch has improved this season. You just know that that has come from him putting hours of practice in on the training ground too.If transfermarkt's numbers are correct, Chicha has scored or assisted a goal every 63 minutes in the Premiership this season.

This is why I find it bizarre when our own fans write Hernandez off. Chico's in his mid 20s still developing at a footballer, rival fans always say they'd love to have him, Real Madrid have been sniffing about him for awhile and yet you can go back a few pages of this thread and find people saying he's not United quality. He has the best goals per minute ratio in the history of the Premier League! It's also encouraging that RVP can comfortably play behind him. So he won't necessarily be competing directly with him every single game.He is one of the big reasons selling Rooney wouldn't overly concern me. Chicha deserves to be the 2nd main striker behind RvP.
Or next to him like they did when we beat Wigan and Newcastle over the winter. It's also encouraging that RVP can comfortably play behind him. So he won't necessarily be competing directly with him every single game.
