Had an impressing second half of the season. Reminds me a lot of McCormack, both very tenacious and versatile, but ir seems McEvoy is more offensively talented. Looking forward to seeing him next yeat and see how he develops
I was literally coming in to say that he reminds me of McCormack too. I think I said it on a match day thread previously where I highlighted their versatility also and their similarities in play.
I would agree that McEvoy has stepped up his forward game too with a couple of nice through balls recently that showed good instincts.
When I first saw them both a couple years ago James Garner came to mind as he to played similar positions coming through just they don’t have his passing range. I’m not saying they will be as good to avoid overhyping but maybe it’s their physical frame.
