Jesse Lingard | Friend of KirkDuyt

That headline change made me chuckle, but I have no ill feelings towards him. If anything he sort of outperformed his actual talent while here and from memory always ran for the team. Wish him well for whatever is next.

Outperformed his talent? When? He was a good player with a man-child brain who'd have had a much better career if he'd applied himself like a grown up. Obviously he had a lot of troubles while he was here but ultimately he ruined his own career.

To be honest I just never viewed him as good enough on any relevant level compared to who came before him, physically, tactically or on a technical level. Accepting that I think he utilised what he did have better than many have that have played for us since (at least for a period of time).

Can surely not be any worse than the likes of Dorgu, Mazraoui (at WB), and Dalot on his usual bad level.

Disagree entirely. He wasn't the most talented player we've ever produced but the guy could play. No less talented than Garnacho for example in my opinion, albeit a different style of play. And he's shown it in what, 2 seasons in the Prem? Couple of good lower league loans before of course too you could argue. But he was playing and scoring for England at one point, how can he have only had 2 good Prem seasons?

Playing in Korea at 31/32 or whatever it was. Went almost 2 years without a goal or assist at Manchester United. His career is a massive underachievement outside of a few bright spots. Not as bad as Ravel but only a couple of steps above in terms of professionalism.

A couple of years in Korea towards the end of a career while still a young man sounds like an amazing experience.

Choccy (RIP) was banned for less.
banned him just for being black. i know of 3 secret black posters on here that pretend to be white and irish. they live in constant fear of being discovered. i saw two of them greeting each other on here with a complicated handshake and thought they’d get rumbled.

I remember when @golden_blunder gave Choccy (RIP) 3 warning points for typing 'aks' instead of 'ask'.

Links to West Ham today, fair to say their fans are not impressed although it is probably nonsense anyway. Sullivan might be trying to see just how unpopular he can make himself if this is real though.

We are apparently in for him as Van Persie has contacted him personally to see if he'd be interested in Feyenoord.

Just feck off Robin.

I would have thought Wrexham or New Zealand.
